puaysian is leaving today. have no idea how i'm gonna spend the next 45 days give or take without him here in singapore. so i'm gonna enter my bubble of grumpiness.

this year's mango sale was a huge disappointment to me. only bought a top and a skirt.

i was so tired i fell asleep while standing on the train. tahan-ed until 10pm when i promptly fell asleep on the sofa. somehow i managed to sleepwalk my way to my parent's bed. woke up at 12.30am. and the cycle of sleeping late and waking up late continues........

went cycling and blading with puaysian and his bro and cousin at ecp ydae. feeling the aftereffects today when my legs hurt really badly after standing for a mere 3hours.

i'm gonna buy a pair of blades soon! yay-ee-yay!!!
haven't been blogging for a long long time cause i'm just plain lazy! so lots of random photos coming up.

my sleeping time is seriously screwed up these past few weeks. been sleeping at 4am and waking at 12 noon. sigh. the day becomes really short. just 6 hours of sunlight before i'm back to the world of nightness. have to do something about that since mango sale is this coming thurs! have to wake early to beat the crowds in getting what little there is to get this season. more later bout the damned mng sale!

last sat after band, i headed home with shijia and beth as usual. we boarded a new bus which got us a-whirring with excitment!

but the patterns SBS choosed is all but puzzling me. i mean it's not that nice isn't it? reminds if egg yolks for some reason.


went to holland v with bernice on monday since she wanted to check out the bead shop.

and bernice promptly spotted her fave liu xuan's picture in the extreme top left! all the times i've been there i've nv spotted him...


met puaysian today and we headed to parkway.

we tried the katong laksa store no. 57.


we've finished the entire bowl. haa. wasn't that bad. i give this store 6.5/10. marks deducted for the lack of spiciness!


and yo-hans was performing at parkway. i remembered queing to have a photo taken with him a few years back. seems like the yoyo craze is back.


and shucks! there is no reservation allowed this year for the mng sale. damn! instead mng cardholders get first touch on sales item. not fair i say!

went for band this afternoon. yes yes..it's becoming more productive. that's good isn't it? it's just that sometimes i feel as if i'm anyhow whacking just for the sake of looking like i'm playing..hmm! and i wish i had the ability of keeping a straight face whenever i play a mistake. gosh! the first thing i do when i make a mistake is to stick out my tongue. i swear it's a reflex action! and cause i did that i'd look round to see if anyone saw me doing that! sigh!

met sher and dhana at parkway after that. it's been quite a long time since i saw dhana. hmmz..he reminded me of primary school and the friends we had last time. logged onto friendster to check out some of our old friends like just. and i found out how much these people have changed. i guess it's not primary school that moulds you. think it's more of secondary school and jc. and i'm going to be like what? 20 this year. that's like donkey years old. in other words. it's Scary! yes with a capital S. haven't seen dhana for so long that i've forgotten that he's really hilarious to be around. sarcastic funny. but funny all the same.

maybe i'm too soft-hearted or something. but it seemed that i don't really dislike many people out there. i just feel that when it comes down to people, there are like so many different kinds of personalities out there. i just accept them for who they are. as long as they don't mean to harm you, i guess there's no need to hate them. true?

oh well. like what sher said, caucasians who are way younger than me, like maybe 16, look damn matured. so maybe it's time to grow up and fit into my full 20 years of age. soon to be that is. meanwhile. i'll work on my funny faces. less funny more poker-straight face. i'll try to be less nua about things i think i can't do. and driving here i come. BUT i'll still accept people for who they are.

thurday was travelling all over singapore day!

woke up damn early in the morning erm okay it was 9am to head for an interview at jurong!

recruit express at JTC summit..was shocked to see such a nice office buiding at jurong.

kind of regretted going there cause the person who called me down was on mc and it was only a small and short interview with another lady. to make matters worst, she told me i could have done the same interview at tampines since they had a branch there. like OMG!

the winds at jurong were like stronger than the east side. the leaves on the plants were like flailing so hard i was worried they would be bald by the end of the storm.

headed to orchard. and i saw a couple taking wedding photos there. was trying to be discrete in taking the photos. but the shots were all so bad. blardy hell! the make-up artiste, the photographer all kept blocking the bride. her dress was nice!

yeap..went to orchard to meet puaysian.

went to far east to eat my chicken rice and say hi to irene who's working at rick's at Level 1. quick go bags from her!

oh yeah..far east toilets had toilets which were the bidet types..mmm..i tried fiddling around with it the last time and only ended up getting my slippers wet. haa..because first of all i was facing the toilet bowl while switching on the tap thingy.

went to sim lim after that to meet kelvin and his sis, vivien. vivien is pretty! erm..unlike..erm...

puaysian and kelvin got their ipod video. i also want! it's damn pretty! oh..you can see vivien and kelvin in the background. didn't take photos cuz it'd be damn weird. like we just met, then can you imagine if i suddenly said, 'aeh! let's take photos!'. haa. if i were her, i'd be damn stunned and then i'd start being wary of crazy agnes lim.

it was raining and it was so slippery! i slipped once. my head slammed into puaysian's arms cause he was beside me and luckily this stopped my fall. haa. damn funny as i sit here recalling how i fell and unfell.

vivien took us to eat at this dessert place. damn nice i tell you! haa..kelvin couldn't eat anything since he had diarrhoea for three days already and everything on the menu had milk!

i shared something called super fresh mango with sorbet ice cream with puaysian. we were choosing between this and fresh mango with sorbet ice cream. haa. like wth! of course choose super fresh right? this is the smaller serving and it's like huge! damn yummy. all the mangos..mmm..

and then puaysian sort of managed to bluff kelvin to accompany me and him to walk from bugis to city hall. and then it was bye babe!

went to meet the section ppl for huiping's birthday dinner. think i haven't been to cafe cartel for some time. the whole system has changed. free bread for all diners! i love their bread!!! think i can just eat like only their bread for one whole meal. erm..plus tons of butter of course.

huiping ordered ribs. made her take this photo cuz i couldn't imagine that slab of ribs inside super petite her.

work was so boring today that i just fooled around with scotch tape and blue ink.

saw the big boss of mastercard today. boy is he tall! think he has at least 1.9m of height in him. think most successful big bosses are tall. and they all have this common fast stride that makes them look super confident.

oh. and puaysian has finally received news that he's leaving on the 27th of june to set sail into foreign land. i've been preparing myself these past two months for life without him. but our mishap last year taught me that i can be independent too. i'll be sad and i'll miss him lots while he's gone but i know he'll be coming back. so instead of being mopey and whiney, i'll just keep praying that he's safe out there and wait for the six months to pass. til he's back again.

it's time for an update! feeling rather upbeat now compared to the past few days..

i've been wanting to update ever since sunday. but each night i've been either too tired or irritated or just blah moody. today was a rough day but going for a run in the evening gave me a boost of endomorphins that made me feel better. right after the run, i had dinner that consist of chicken cutlet, fries and damn oily bread! super yummy! but damn! calories were piled back just after they were zapped off.

woke up late in the afternoon to my mum cooking chilli crabs and bak kuk teh! whoopee. all my favourite food.

then moomoo, bernice and i headed down to town to check out the digital cams. pc fair mar..must take advantage!

we headed to ck tang first to check out prices at the TechnoLab.

the toilet there looks stylish! i've a soft spot for nicely-decorated toilets. yeah..weird i know.


the sink. sort of school-like since the basin is just one-piece compared to many sinks. but glammed up many times.


went to suntec after that. woah! the crowd was s-ca-ry i tell you! everyone had to move at speeds of 5cm per min. come on lar. even though it was a pc fair, you still have to have money to buy all the gadgets right? singaporeans are really getting richer. why am i still always penniless at the end of the month?


headed to band an hour and a half late after that. leaving my mum and sis to fight the crowds.

another picture on the train. why are couples so indifferent to each other these days? there were two couples in front of me that were acting as if they didn't know each other.


band was quite bad. lin sheng finally realised that one of my gong parts was supposed to be bowed by a string bass bow instead. couldn't get any sound out of the huge gong. why?! you big piece of metal!

headed over to andrea's house after band. her father then drove us to yio chu kang mrt for the sleepover at brandon's house!

very glad that our band fest percussion people still keeps in touch after all these years. damn proud of us also! think we're the only perc people who are still in contact.

after peekae and yingxin arrived, brandon drove us down in his new black subaru (nice!) to jalan kayu for the famous prata and milo dinosaur!


they had live video shows on the chef making the prata! haa..so funny. there i was sitting in the dingy coffee shop environment watching some live cooking ala some high-class eating place.

the yummy food! price was rather exorbitant though. one piece of cheese prata for $2.50. okay-tasting only what.


we then headed back. brandon claimed that it only took 3 mins to his place from jalan kayu and indeed it was.

yay! went to his house once before when we were all in jc. this time round i snapped a shot of this! brandon is related to gong li! we spotted her in his family photo. standing out as usual with her porcelain complexion.

we played pool for awhile. yes he had a pool table!


and then we watched In The Blue while playing daidee. andrea and brandon fell aslp in the dim lightings. haa. after that we decided to head upstairs to his room to play board games.

got bored halfway through the game as i really hated number games. so i started fooling around with brandon's and peekae's funnky spectacles!


eeps! i look terrible in his spectacles.


i preferred peekae's glasses. so much better!

when it was around 4am, we headed to the guest room next door to play bridge. i think peekae konked out around this time. i started to get really sleepy around 6 too..

at 7+am, when we heard birds chirping, we decided to take a nap for twenty minutes. haa like real! our nap became 4 hours long!

after some pancakes and bitter! grapefruit juice, we headed to bugis for lunch since peekae had to report for work there too.


not sure how peekae survived the rest of her sunday working. but after we dispersed and i headed to my grandma's place, i promptly fell asleep on the sofa in some weird position! haa..

went cycling with puaysian!

just as we were going to leave, the skies started to pour! so we abandoned our bikes..


and went to order stingray! which puaysian was craving for. damn yummy i tell you! didn't make me regret the rain at all.

yeah! sales galore! really shop until drop!


met up with the percussion gals for shopping and lunch! minus huiping who had her birthday on that day! happy birthday gal!


oh yeah..i saw irene working at far east and sherlyn shopping too!

i wanted to get this clutch bag at first. later on i changed my want to a pink clutch. hot pink no less.


and i made a terrible shopping error! i mean..it looked good in my hands right?


BUT!

don't laugh arh!

i went ahead and bought this dumpling bag instead! boohoo..started regretting it on the way back home. record man! haven't even reached home when i started to regret already.


yeap..and so that was it! oh i bought another belt too. happy going out to spend money and not working until i felt the pinch last night and started sending out resumes.

which resulted in...

an interview tmrw at JURONG. yeap. freak!

at least i've got my headphones to accompany me....

then meeting puaysian and kelvin to get their mp3. and then dinner at night with the perc gals!

hmmm...okaaayyy...so i did not do what i planned to the night before. bah! woke up at 1 plus plus in the afternoon when my sis returned from school.... -___-

so the only things i managed to accomplished was watch desperate and grey's before being hustled by an ever-punctual bernice out of the house.

went to meet my mum at city hall...

my mum is terrified of the overhead bridge leading from citylink to suntec (she has this hunch that it's so going to collaspe one day) so we made a detour via marina square.

and we saw this canberra fair.. saw jaehee's gal there. sort of forgotten her name. lots and lots of tulips there for you to gawk at. i wonder how much they cost.


went to the pc fair. where i spotted puaysian at his canon booth!


and serena at her creative booth. shucks! i look terrible here! *sulks* someone forbidded me to put up the other one.

the next day which happens to be today. i went back to the pc show to get the ZEN neeon from serena as she could get it for me at staff price. bought the purple one which was only 512 mb cuz i didn't like the 1 gb colour which is blue. blue and black? nah..i wanted the silver one which was 2 gb and serena had such a great offer on it but guess what? SOLD OUT!

walked to work after that..OMG! my office is freaking near suntec. like maybe ten mins walk? look! i can see it from the other suntec overhead.


as i walked closer, the dhl balloon got bigger. gals! pester your boyfriend to take you for a air balloon ride! it's just beside the gateway.

in the evening when i was walked once again to suntec to gather my goods, the balloon was flying high in the evening skies....


yay! i got my own mp3! no more fighting with bernice..


it took a really time before i could see the mp3 itself. another plain white box inside the colourful one.

and i got the headphones which was slashed from $129 to $65 with purchase of any mp3s! yay! what a good deal..
