who cares if my hair was messy, or if i was waving my paper like a lunatic...i passed my driving test!!!!!!!!!! whoppeeeeee!!

oh my and now i regret my emo ranting on monday...

and thank you all who left little messages and made me feel the lurrve...

esp at a time where i couldn't let anyone know the date of my driving test so that i will pass..haha this from andrea and carmen...

Driving was horrible today. on the bus ride home, i was wondering whether i should be resigned to be the passenger and not the one behind the wheel. or would it always be public transport my whole life...

it seems like the more lessons i take, the worst i become. or maybe i just don't really care anymore..i don't know )):

have been taking lifts from soo many people in the past 2 weeks. i feel as if i owe everyone a whole load for getting me home safely all the time. saturday was the bomb, had car rides from weiqi's boyfriend, greg and alex all in a single night.

but i wanna be able to drive my future husband back from the airport, and of coz my kids to sch and to their ballet and piano lessons (haaa fulfil my taitai ambition) and for a change, my dad! so must buck up maan...
and so jan came around and suddenly it was 2008. and i always have this urge to sew at the start of the year. i've no idea why...maybe it's coz spotlight always have their sale at the start of the year as well..

cloth-buying is like this really competitive task. you finger this particular pattern of cloth thinking to yourself whether it's nice, and when you see another person looking at the same piece of cloth, you'd just grab the whole roll of it. i was like walking everywhere and tripping over all the rolls of cloth. they were pretty heavy mind you!

my pretty cloth!! bitbit wouldn't leave them alone..kept sniffing and scratching them...


so i sewed 3 bags in total before getting tired of sewing...


i like my bags to have pretty insides.

the first bag i sewed. wasn't a very good design..coz the straps were too thin...

okay i really like stuff to have pretty insides. if you showed me two pairs of shoes that looks identical except one has a really pretty lining. i wouldn't mind paying more to get that pair.

haaa i hope it means that i'm not a superficial person..you know like i matter what's inside as well...okayyy moving on....


attended her party with my sis.


this was when her girlfriend split us into groups to come up with a card for vels..i think we were the winning group. what with a designer in the group. all i had to do was colour!

and that was the previous hols. i'm starting work tomorrow, not really looking forward to it since it means waking up early after a spiel of waking up after noon. and my elbow bone hurts from spending too much time in front of the computer. whooop it's 2am...time to head to bed, i don't want a repeat of falling asleep at work again!
the christmas edition 07 post.

celebrated christmas with the pharm ppl at maymay's place. her golden retriever is such a mild and obedient girl..but i was really on cloud nine since it was always my childhood dream to have a golden retriever. but me wants a labrador now..one with a silky brown coat..sweet!

anyways it was a warm and cozy get-together coz it was potluck affair. so we all sat together on her front porch in the evening breeze, eating and play taboo afterwards.

so far the hols has been pretty good to me..but i want more time home. used to want to go out all the time in the past, but i guess preferences change. all i want to do is be home with my laptop and cranberry juice.

went to kelvin lim's after my driving lesson today and we met jaehee for Indiana Jones at Vivo!

the storyline is pretty crappy to me since it included aliens..yeah huh?! but a few parts of the movie made me go WOWEEE..yay indyy! since i'm not a sucker for blockbuster hits, i was pleasantly surprised by the movie. i say go catch it!

went home and bernice had to spoil my day by telling me bout her day......

well it's because we temp at this swanky oil co. when the receptionist there needs to take the day off..thing is it's like some model factory there. most of the ppl there are GORGEOUS.

and we sorta have fight-offs over who we think the hottest guy there is.

hers dubbed the pantry-guy because he sits near the pantry HAAA! mine's just called john lim (bottom left, but see what i mean..the gal's hot as well..) because that's his name and it's so wrong for a hot guy to have such a blah name.


and she had to tell me all the unglam stuff about this guy. like how he practises his 'golf swing' in the lift lobby just outside the receptionist area because he thinks nobody is watching. and how he would cheapskate-ly ask for free postage stamps for his mail.

and today she HAPPILY told me that he was practising his 'golf-swing' in the lift lobby AGAIN. and he was stretching and stuff...sigh!

anyways 'golf-swing' is in inverted commas because we're not sure what it is....he just swings his hands really dramatically as shown to me gleefully by bernice! ugh...







went xmas shopping with the bee..and she had a surprise for me! because i told her my driving lessons sucked ): she was carrying this huge paper bag, brought me to the giant xmas tree at ngee ann city and took out this huge polaroid cam! SO SWEET RIGHT!

so off we head to take polaroids with both of us and the xmas decor. the shops had pretty nice window displays too..so i was in a super good mood that day!

oh gosh this was exactly a sem before. super lagged...went to watch a movie with the pharm ppl right after the last paper..


we watched Enchanted and it was really funny because niron and faarv was sitting beside me. and they came late because all of us couldn't fit into Parry's car, and didn't know what movie we were watching. Right after the movie ended, i turned to find them ducking down low in their seats, giggling..haha! asked them why and they said they were embarrassed to be seen watching such a film. owells!

went cycling right after..was supposed to be the first of many cycling trips but turned out to be the only one..


we all look so young for some reason..


went to zouk flea and bought a pair of vintage pre-loved heels!

okay just realised i've tons to photoshop..so i'm gonna head to bed since photoshop doesn't sit well with only 4 hrs of slp and tons of cookies and muruku and durian cake in my stomach...feel so like puking from the combi....

So i've finally got two days home to myself..have been heading out everyday since the papers ended. and the cycle is gonna start all over again with driving lessons and work all over again..

didn't want to do any work this hol..i mean how are you gonna get a 3 months break, or 1.5 months in my case, in your life when you start working. but pearly my job agent kept calling like non-stop. now the remaining of my hols are filled with work even on driving lesson days! she insist i can even work half-days..like wow!

anyways i spent yesterday packing my room and revamping my blog template. i think the monthly aunt red is around the corner. felt so upset to let my template of 3 years go..ugh what's wrong with me! i don't even wanna change to livejournal because i'll be changing my url.

ugh ugh think when i move house i'll be a sobfest )): been staying here my entire life.

yeah but anyways since the hols are here, it's time to photo-blog again!

and i just taught myself photoshop today..so yay nicer collages..pity blogger doesn't allow bigger images..my collages appear like real tiny.


the amount of food i've eaten this week is astounding...i've a little pot belly that doesn't disappear when i wake up!

i think it started with the trip to malacca on monday. had some jap cake from four leaves (NICE) and then my mum cooked half boiled eggs..so i snitched like one of her two eggs. i mean since the bus journey was gonna be long and all..might as well stock up my tummy, which reminds me i've to blog about the sounds my stomach's been making during the exams and tests. niron says it was disturbing his french test. didn't want a repeat on the bus hence the heavy brekkie..BUT they served delifrance and i had like a small wheat bread sandwich, a ciabatta sandwich, a madelaine and 1 and one-third of an eclair. THAT would have been my whole day's meal during the studying break, coz mostly nobody cooked for me while i was alone at home.

then when it was lunch, we had nonya food and they dishes just kept coming! and they were so good i forgot bout the food in my stomach and just kept eating. then they had to serve the creamiest chendol i've had in awhile. ugh..

then we had teabreak and dinner still!

wednesday after the slice of cake for weiqi's surprise bdae celebration at ttsh, i had the nicest beancurd AND YOUTIAO at short st with carmen. then i saw someone eating hum ji peng so i had that as well. and i had two beancurds to go for my family. one of the two bowls manage to end up in my tummy as well...

today we had the international meeting at new york new york, four of us shared 2 mains so it wasn't so bad. but after the meeting, mel and i ended up buying donuts from J.co! and i gleefully told my mum to cook two packets of oyster mushroom for dinner coz it was my favourite! apparently it wasn't the rest of family's favourite as well so i had to finish it..and just after midnight. i felt hungry, so i ate like bak gua...i've to swim an hour to get rid of the calories from one slice of that poisonous thing..think i'd have to swim 3 hours with what i've eaten...

and don't get me started on the dim sum buffet yesterday...ugh!!!

i'm gonna stop waving hi and bye to people already. don't wanna show no jiggly arms yo!
horrible exams timetable this sem. i start after everyone had ended and had 3 consecutive papers!

planned to surprise joy but it didn't really work out the way i expected but doesn't matter...she was surprised and that's all that matter! so happy birthday joy!!!! muacks muacks!

went out with my pharm ppl after that for some ice-skating!


it was my first time at ice skating..and it was scary coz the floor was soo wet i couldn't afford to fall at all!

but it was fun and i've decided to dig out my blades from where ever in the house it's gathering dust and start blading at the neighbourhood park again!

and we took neoprints after that..oh gosh it's been ages since i've stepped into one of those machines..and oh boy have we lost touch with the art of neoprint-taking.


spent saturday at city harvest and dinner with weiqi and kelvin. and monday at malacca! was stuffed...okay i just realised i can't really blog while watching my tv serials so i shall continue another day..here's to an eventful 3 months!!
ugh my rabbit bit through half of my laptop charger's wire!
