i just watched la vie en rose, a french film about the famous singer, Edith Piaf.

and as the movie ended with her dying peacefully in bed with her famous song je ne regrette rien in the background, it made me really really reflect.

she led one tulmultous life and she regrets nothing in the end. i wanna be like that..but hopefully with my life being more of a bed of roses than hers. (:



with that i have to say i'm really a comedy/romantic flick kind of person. serious, arty-farty movies make me think too much. it's nice to watch them once in a while but really i enjoy the non-serious stuff more.

so it's back to school once more. the third week already and i still feel as if school hasn't really started. but i'm really enjoying what i'm doing now so ((:
okay the title says it all..i've never done so much EVER during a single holiday. and now i'm feeling depressed coz school is starting...no scratch that school HAS STARTED and i don't feel like working at all. thank god i've a 3-day school week this sem..gives me time to readjust..

and here's the rest of my precious hols..from the 6th week onwards, did considerably less stuff because of preceptorship..

here was way back at kelly's bbq party..at some condo in the north. mike drove sab and gave dhan, sher and i a lift there as well. so the three of us were stuffed in the back and it was pretty fun and cozy coz mike's car had this retractable sun roof thing and we were all just staring up at the night sky and chatting..


we headed to some hongkong cafe at siglap after for supper..but i don't rem us staying long!

and in the same week, worked at communicasia with joy and cherie..check out the funky fanny pack we had to carry!

we slacked alot during our working hours and visited the singtel booth all the time, they was giving away complementary nachos, coffee and hot chocolate. i so missed their hot chocolate..it's like a sip of bliss...foamy, creamy and sooo comforting! joy was talking to the barista and found out that she knew where their shop was..was telling joy i want to go there one day, order their hot chocolate and daydream the time away and she says she's bringing me there ((:

yea and we had to wear some cheerleader uniform thing with COME GET MY NUMBER on the back..not very subtle...joy & cherie had their share of ckp. i was fortunately partnered with a jolin tsai-lookalike so there were loads of teenage angst/hormonal lust directed towards her ((:


and we weren't very hardworking so the both of us spent our days trawling the 5 halls of expo looking at all the faboo-looking models...oh yea and the LG korean dancers (:

and this was night cycling with cherie and weiqi's cell..happened during the week when preceptorship started..have no idea how i survived coz the route was so long!


we started at ecp, then to orchard road, botanical gardens, nus law school, bukit timah prata place, nus, vivocity, cbd and then back..but it was totally worth the trip to the prata place man..best prata i've ever eaten!

and i met the primary school people after like 10 years of not meeting..we had dinner over popeye's at the airport and it was fun reminiscing bout all our old classmates and the funny stuff we did together..


and we got this eurasian woman to take a photo for us and she went, "okay schmell!" i was like controlling..the moment dhan let out his first guffaw that was it for me..i just burst out laughing!


and it's pretty cool how after 10 years we still could come together and chat and laugh over dinner..really missed my primary school days..had like the most carefree days ever there...


and the jc class got together again to celebrate titus' birthday..went to settler's at clark quay earlier on in the night, then we had to find some place for supper. so we pop at the back of titus' pickup and it was like sooo fun! he was going down nicoll highway at like 100k and i had spit dribbling out of my mouth haha!




we settled down at simpang after that and here's titus trying to suck out his candles instead of the conventional blowing them out!

and dhan very kindly offered to cut and dye my hair...here's befores and afters and the nicole richie hairstyle i wanted!


he dyed it burgendy and i'm really excited after the cut coz i thought it was real swell!


how cool is that, one day when you've gotten bored with being a doctor you can defo hang up your stethoscope and cut hair instead!

carmen came over later in the day to have her hair cut as well, and while waiting for dhan to take a bath before we headed out to supper, we fooled around in his room!

and i went to brewerks with like the most mis-mashed group ever! there were ppl from my pri sch, sec sch, jc! and everyone knew each other in some way..


we had some raspberry beer thingy and i think beer is still the yummiest alco drink..don't really fancy all the vodka, spirits, wine stuff...


kinda clicked with mirelle's friend hazel and we were laughing over the most hilarious stuff. and my mum wanted to call me hazel instead of agnes when i was a baby....

we went to mos after..it was like so late after brewerks that we went in when ppl were leaving..

next up was jc class chalet..the boys were up to their nonsense again. they were like 'whee let's see how many ppl can get onto the bike!' and the next moment, the wheel completely crumpled! and it was dhan's bike..tsk tsk!

and speaking of work, here's my two favourite ppl at sgh who made an otherwise horrible time soo much more fun! we were chatting away like any in the outpatient pharmacy everyday!


love you joy! i was really really depressed coz it's that time of the month and it was dawning on me that sch is finally starting and this girl decorated a notebook and wrote the sweetest and most hilarious stuff on a card to me..really really touched!

and that's the end of the hols, what a long post! i kinda got tired at the end..but i realised that most of my close friends now all know each other some way or another and it's just amazing how small the world is....

like how mel and i could be friends in pre-school! and how we might have not known at all if we hadn't happen to talk about our pre-school days...


and even more amazing is how titus was also in the same pre-school!


it's funny how life turns out in the end..and i'm feeling horribly depressed again coz i'm reminded again that the holidays have ended.

and a 3day sch week isn't so good after all because my timetable is horribly squashed and i don't have time to spend with the pharm ppl ))): we have to have our once a month going out thing!!!

okay heading to bed with bitbit and friends coz it's 4am and i'm so not keeping to my resolution.

so the fifth week started with a dimsum buffet with the jc gals ((:


after the two dimsum buffets, i've come to realised that maybe dimsum really isn't one of my favourite food, i esp hate hargows & siewmais!!

but the egg tarts are still one of the most glorious dimsum inventions!


we went cycling right after the buffet since we had the buffet at tunglok east coast. yea so that made me feel less guilty coz it meant less calorie burden from the buffet!


the next day i went shopping with bernice in the day and yea we had to do our favourite pastime of taking pictures in fitting rooms


met the percussion gals after that to celebrate huiping's birthday..

it was pretty exciting coz flea markets seldom have nice stuff anymore and home club did!

parry had to come fetch me from the monorail station as i was super lost..and he was leading me to where everyone was sitting..IN THE DARK. i was like, 'where are they?' and he was like, 'right in front.' and the thing was i couldn't see anyone! i think parry said something like, 'hey guys!' and everyone shouted back their heys and i was like the most surprised person in the world because it was really so dark that i couldn't see anyone at all!

and i missed staying in hall a tad tonight suddenly for some reason..i'm like sitting here admiring the door of my room in hall last time..but it just looks so darn swell!

anyways mambo yesterday was like sooo boring! the only thing that redeemed the night was when carmen drove dhan and i to the tamp prata place. i told the indian guy who was taking orders, 'one plaster, one bomb...' and he looked at me like i was mad! so i repeated, 'one plaster, one bomb..' and he was like, 'plaster we have, bomb nono!' then he starting uhm-chioing like i was a crazy person....

then dhan and carmen just started laughing non-stop! hrmp how can he not know what a bomb is maan!

okay i'm getting paranoid looking through my photos..am i like aging too fast or something!
imma horrible person..had lessons at 10am today yet i woke up at 9.50 when joy gave me a call..

first day of sch was alright..considering i only attended two hours of it..haha mel's post on the sneezing person is hilarious! pls go read..and bernice post on our borders-craziness is a genius i wanna copy everything, paste it here and make it my own!

okay it's now 1.30am and according to my resolution i'm supposed to be asleep at 1am? BUT i slept the moment i came home til midnight..so i'm gonna count that as 3 hours of sleep so i can sleep at 4am today?

okay i'm really sad to say goodbye to the hols this time, i guess it's because, excluding the preceptorship (it was made bearable only by the company of joy and mel), I HAD SUCH A BLAST!!

so here we go..first week of the hols..

i mean how much better could it get, a trip to malacca on the first day of the hols! albeit being a drug co. visit, it was with friends so how bad could it get. i guess it was this that put me off blogging til now. have been waiting for other malacca photos for like forever..but junice is off to sweden already )):

maymay was my bus pardner..she kept me entertained when she was awake but she kept nodding into me when we both dozed off haaa i couldn't sleep coz the nodding made me laugh soo much!


we drew the curtains when the sun made us go squinty but the annoying thing had like the most static ever..

and the blogging of the malacca trip comes to an abrupt end here because there's no more photos. all i rem is myself and a few others in the front row trying our darndest not to fall asleep during some presentation and the massive amount of food i consumed that day..

okay i'm super stoked here coz carmiee promised me a trip to the nicest tauhuey in singapore


and yep it was the yummiest thing..i'm like spoilt for good now whenever it comes to tauhuey. nothing ever taste quite as nice as the tauhuey at rochor..the yutiao is lip-smacking good as well! and she's promised that we're gonna head there whenever any of us feels depressed..i've got it written down here in case she forgets!

and according to my schedule book, i headed over to greg's for mj and then prata supper with the jc class after dimsumss..

okay blogging has made me more depressed to be going back to school graaah...owells it's 3am better try to sleep earlier since it's the end of hols...

okay i've a few resolutions to make before heading back to sch...

there's three actually -

i'm going to have a normal, non-screwed up body clock. this means not going to sleep at 5am and waking up at 3pm..and since i've such a beautiful timetable of 3 days of school from 10-6. i've set my official sleeping time from 1am to 8am everyday including the other 4 days of non-school.

i'm going to have two days of rest from schoolwork each week. so this means i'll have to finish up all sch-related stuff on saturdays so i can fully enjoy sundays and mondays!

i'm going to jog and swim more. so much for my grit and determination i promised my mum when i made her sign up for a supplementary card that allows me entry at the swell swimming place her civil service membership gives her. i went for a grand total of ONE TIME for the 7 months i had the card. and how much joy and mel tell me they've been jogging normally puts me to shame..mel runs 10k in like an hour and joy runs 3k++ each time she runs! i think i've only ever run more than 3k once in my 21 years..like way back in sec2 during cross country for my class..

there! i feel so much more prepared for school now! goodnight world!

school today turned out really fun!

after staying til the morning break tuning out the prof...really i couldn't understand what he was saying and it was an open-book test at the end of the day...so parry mel joy & i decided to go watch a movie on a whim!

and because i was saving the dark knight to watch with carmen coz i promised her ): the rest couldn't watch that as well..

we ended up heading to parry's to watch harold & kumar on his comfy huge sofa bed! okay so i sort of dozed off halfway..but i woke up to joy & mel's shouts of 'look how weird her boobs are!' ahahah...

we nua-ed around somemore and then parry & mel brought us to this ice cream palour. like so classic skip school-play truant-and head to the ice cream palour sorta thing!

so when parry was parking his car near the ice cream place, there was this old railway bridge there and mel was like let's go explore!

so here's us treading carefully through the railway tracks..okay i was really apprehensive & scared actually...


mel is the best maan..still can pose you know! this metal bridge thingy has like huge humongous spacing that you can see through and imagine falling through..shudders!!!


okay i look retarded here but it's such a hilarious picture! can't help but keep laughing at it!


awww..what greeted us at the bridge..this place must be some hangout spot for lovers or something...

the adrenaline high from tredding across the rusty metal plates and climbing down steep paths stayed with us for awhile so we were like talking gibberish in the car after but it was the most fun i had in a while!!

parry was a spot, tolerating all our nervous chatter across the metal plates and lending us a hand when the path seemed scary. haha he had to accompany us for night cycling as well coz he was worried that mel would be too gung ho and speed or something..he must think we're crazy ppl for making such a din over the spacings!

and i went home and concussed straight away...woke up for dinner then went straight back to bed after dumping my plates in the sink...

around midnight my mum said i behaved as if i was drugged..funny thing is parry said the exact same thing in the afternoon when i dozed off during harold&kumar...this startled me so much i couldn't get back to sleep so now it's 4am and i'm still wide awake..AGAIN!

i literally felt the most awful i ever could feel EVER today...

planned to go running at the park before meeting the jc ppl..so i finally got my ass off the bed..

i dashed across the road coz i didn't want to wait for the traffic lights..when i stopped to stretch at the entrance of the park i was like WOAAHh couldn't see anything but bright white light..so i sat myself down on a bench..

felt giddy and nauseous, so i sat there feeling sorry for myself thinking maybe i shouldn't push myself and then this HUGE shiny spider threatened to jump onto my thigh so i jumped up and then i suddenly felt better so i decided to run anyway

i managed to run 3 rounds around the park without feeling horrible..but the moment i stopped omg the horrible pukish sensation came back..

amongst all the white light filling my vision, i managed to find a bench think i must have passed out there for at least 15mins..all the time the only thoughts i had was...agnessss you're gonna have huge muscular legs if you don't stretch...

then i glanced at my watch and it was 6.35 and i was supposed to meet the gals at 7pm so i literally dragged myself from lamp post to lamp post back home...

felt so horrible in the end i met the class at 9..bzzz...

after that we went to some pool place..and gosh i need my dad to seriously teach me...

and then it was tauhuey at the shop beside the genuine rochor st one..cannot compare at all!

okay and since i woke up at a disgusting 5pm today..it's 4am now and i'm still wide awake....gonna retire to bed with bitbit and gossip girl!

my appetite seems to have taken on a life on its own these days!

today's steamboat at dhana's, i felt sooo full after stuffing myself with all the cheese sausages and various cuttlefish.octopus etc balls ...

when i went home, my mum told me she bought my favourite chewy jr puffs so i ate 3 of them!

and then i ate this entire potato-filling bread from breadtalk

and then i was still not full so i ate my sis' old fashioned jewel-coloured top biscuits til she complained

and then my sis was packing her breakfast for tmr..cheese-chunk bread! crap i ate two slices as well....

and somehow i still felt hungry so i went to the fridge and found mongolia milk..looks quite dubious coz it was some free gift but it was DARN YUMMY!!!! like the creamiest milk i've ever tasted..which also means it's very fattening..ugh..

i'm so glad the attachment is over..now it's one more week to the start of school! gonna make full use of the remaining of the hols leftover..have to blog!!
