the daily must-dos in the bathroom are so mundane and routine that i find my thoughts wandering most of the times.
and today's convo with friends have made think more deeply about all our itsy-picky habits in the good ol' bathroom.
take for example, how as i was growing out my hair in the past, i progressively used much more shampoo. when my hair was at its longest, i went up to using two full pumps of the shampoo. when i chopped off my hair. the first few days i conscientiously tried to use less shampoo. the following week i was back to my two pumps. pumped without thinking. oops but owells!
okay and recently i've taken to brushing my teeth in the morning after brekkie. not the most glam thing so i haven't been publicising it..and there i was thinking i was doing like one of the most shameful thing in the world and trying to keep mum so that NOBODY every knows..not even my sis...and during french lessons we had to describe daily activities and such, so my teacher was just saying how he finds it weird that here in singapore, ppl actually brush their teeth before breakfast. coz western culture has brought him up to brush teeth only after meals.
one classmate pointed out that wouldn't he be eating all the bacteria that built up over the night in our mouth? he just shrugged and agreed saying yeah maybe..but wouldn't we still taste toothpaste when we're having our brekkie...and the lingering taste of food after meals just doesn't feel right...weird huh...
and one more thing i noticed was that no matter how bland i think that the taste, smell and appearance of cucumbers are in real life, i've to say that i ADORE cucumber bath products. right now i can't live without Dove cucumber and green tea cream shower. it's like sooo fragrant and soothing at the same time..mmmm......
