okay so the hols are over. my only week to sleep but i spent it working. owells but at least i met robin leong and this hollywood star while working at this film productions co. anyways its office is at this shophouse in mohammad sultan over this thumping pub with a mean looking bouncer outside. damm cool..and i wanna live in a shophouse! a modernised one of course! really lurve working in there..bright sunlight thru the huge windows..small but cosy...mmm..me likey!

this week was about working and sending dhana off at the airport. it was really heart-wrenching..and suddenly my perception of the airport totally changed. it's like actually a really sad place..what with all the partings and goodbyes. anyways dhan..i hope you're doing good over in gd ol dublin!

haven't really started studying much for my 3 tests nxt week. i'm like soo dead. and after that i'll be having tests every single week until the week before exams. damm shitty.

and i can't stop watching satc. makes me want to live in new york for a few weeks and just be able to sit at the outdoor cafes, nursing a cuppa and watching the world go by.

anyways to end it off i really lurve the m1 advert on teevee now. the one with the indian guy ending the advert by saying 'mumbai...india!!!!' darn funny...
okay holidays is turning out to be hell week!

i have work everyday from 10am to 7pm..add driving lessons in the morning before work and the three tests in the week after break...oh wth!

anyways just came back from huilin's party and boy was it fun. owells wanted to blog like stuff that's been happening since sch started during the hols but doubt that will happen. anyways here's a little something to whet your appetite...


oh gosh! it's been a long time since i knew what my dream guy would be like. but there, in the middle of watching sex and the city, i found him. Aidan. he's tall, huge and snuggly, had his own dog, looked out for your friends, unbelievably understanding. mmmmmm....
he wasn't smashing good-looking but just someone you wouldn't mind looking at the rest of your life.

i woke up today tingling with excitement

it's been a long time since i've done that. and both times it was because the same thing appeared in my dreams.

oh but i couldn't get enough of my dream that i slept til 3.45pm! omg..now my msn nick reads -- my sleep debt is totally written off

just yesterday, i remembered asking joy whether did we ever made it to nepal? it just seems like a little dream, so unreal so far away. damn the whole hols seem like a dream. i mean 3 months is a long long time and to not feel as if it didn't happen, seemed very very wrong.

i guess it's that time of the sem again when everything starts feeling jaded, tests start appearing, school work starts piling up, webcasts are waiting to be watched and sleep just never seems to be enough.

got my patho test results yesterday and i don't really know what sort of reaction i have to it. i mean it wasn't good yet i didn't fail it like some people did. plus the fact that i gave up completing studying everything the night before the test made me just happy to accept whatever grade i had.

now pharmaco test was a different thing, i'd only finish less than half of what i had to at 10pm the night before the 8.30am test. somehow someway i pushed myself to study until 4.45am completing everything. now i hope i get results that justify my hard work. don't get me wrong, i'm not really a results sort of person. i'm more of a i better get what i put in kinda person. i'm really glad though that i have friends like joy and weiqi telling me that results aren't everything.

okay anyways lately i've been really digging this snack!!!



it's some meiji fran green tea stick snack...and it's damn yummy! it's like 3.30 a box but you know what i'm going to heck the cost and troop down to tm later to get at least five more of those lovelies since they won't be found anywhere else after the japan snack fair ends. even the jap snack stall at Central doesn't bring it in.

okay off to my webcasts now! i can't wait for the hols!!!
time has been passing like sooo quickly these days. past week has been like erm...i don't know...normal? bahasa indonesia classes is really fun if not really mind-wrecking. and i have a teacher with the same name as me. so i have to call her ibu Agnes. so so weird!

there was patho test this thurs (yes yes..tell me bout it..tests starting in the 4th week...) which i studied really hard for in the beginning but just gave up towards the end as there were just too many things to memorised and stuff. sigh! somehow i can't focus on my studies like i did in sec sch. hmmm...actually i think it's just the way uni grades us. i'd usually flunk all my common tests and start mugging hard for the exams. it sucks now that exams are only worth 50%?!

BUT DRIVING TOTALLY ROCKS this week..getting the hang of changing gears and handling the damn clutch. my instructor even brought me to one of the more difficult test routes. hoho..at last agnes can drive! i so love changing gears up...watching the speedometer needle inch up as the car gains speed..makes me feel really er powerful. haha..but my instructor is determined not to let me pass the 60 click mark. booo...he always gets me to brake before that..

and on fri our whole family brought the rabbit to the vet. it's really fun doing things together as a family. my mum made my dad drive us around stevens road looking for the house that sold for 29 million bucks. we didn't find it but we did see lots of extravagant looking houses that made my jaw drop and my head ache so much because i know i'll never own one of those pretty things.

it was my dad's birthday today too and we had buffet dinner at some hotel..think it was called riverview or something like that. we reached the place early so we walked around the place and i can't believe i actually did it but i was right outside zouk with my parents! hello weirdness alert! haha..and i have pictures to prove it.

okay shall stop my ramblings and try to finish my two webcasts. there's pharmaco test this week...10 chapters so woe to me.....

went cycling with miz bee today and it was darn fun!! zooming around on the bike down the slopes and just feeling the wind in our hair (or what's left of mine) was great.

there were a few accidents on the way too..
our metal chain came out of the circular spikey thing (have no idea what it's called) and we almost crashed into the bushes. only casualty was my leg which had huge oil stains and my shades which cracked when it dropped ):
we were cycling on bedok jetty where it was soooo quiet although both sides of the jetty were flanked with many ppl fishing. when suddenly not far from me (i'd say 1 metre), i saw this fish flopping around right in the tracks of my bicycle wheel. I SHRIEKED!!! aeh but i manged to swerve and avoid flattening the fish kay...but bernice said all the fishing ah peks turned away from their rods and looked at us ):
then we were cycling pass this group of beng-ish guys when bernice started gaffawing and asking me whether i heard what one of them shouted. i didn't so she told me. "hi...bye...NUMBER" hilarious lar young kids these days...

anyways agnes is damn grumpey now because her whole back is sun burnt and she has aching thighs and calves.

applying rosiden made me shiver in cold for some reason...weird!

and joy just told me that we chat so much on msn that our message history size is full

the most exciting trivia of the night is that britney has released her new single!!!!
and i can't help but keep hitting the play button each time it stops. it's THAT good..at least to me lar..i'm a HUGE britney fan!
