my best friend after night cycling is the ketoprofen patch!

went night cycling on friday night and according to kel, we covered 50km! wooo..from ecp all the way to bukit timah then to vivo and back...on the train back home in the morning with siva, i could hardly hold up my eyelids. came home bathed, slapped on the patches and headed to bed.

when i woke up, na-ah..no thigh ache at all!

i dread going back to hospital...my preceptor is really nice and doesn't ask me much. but the amt of pharmacy knowledge i know and her niceness makes me really guilty for some reason. sigh! at least there's a talk tmr so that means an hour off being questioned! ((:

10 more days of inpatient...i really can't wait for outpatient. i heard it's a madhouse. but i do love picking and packing drugs..i could do it for 3 whole weeks. just don't give me any hw. yea like that's gonna happen!

all i want to do now is stay home all day. i've finally had enough of going out.

it's depressing really. the news around me.

but at least it wipes out the gd memories....

preceptorship is still on a standstill now since my preceptor is so busy with covering other pharmacists on mcs..so with all the trainings and meetings, the countdown is now 12 more days to the end of inpatient. if you ask me, i seriously can't wait for outpatient. don't wanna use my brain no more. i'll be happy just doing stuff that requires you to be mechanical...like...a robot.


postscript reading bout vel's trip to yasin is really firing up my wanderlust. oh to be away so far from the busy world....

second day of preceptorship and i felt more tired than ever. accidentally walked into the mortuary part of sgh on the way to work. like wow is that a sign or something...

but my preceptor is actually quite lenient and does not pile me up with questions so i guess i should feel lucky. still my pharmacy is supplying the cardiac wards so i have to go home to brush up on my heart stuff.

and today the head technician of my satellite pharmacy told me i seemed to be more suited to retail pharmacy because of my personality. O.H.M.Y.

so on the second day, my mindset is now to do prereg at a hospital and stay on as long as i can bear to. and then i'll just go back to retail. but it's only the second day...i'm like changing my mind every single day!

oh why is my rue belated like a yr late..time is not working like it should...grraaahhh!

first day of preceptorship was sooo tiring. but at least it was busy then time would pass faster. my first day of preceptorship made me not want to work in a hospital in the future. so much brain work and memorising. totally not my forte...but it's just the start so i'm keeping my mind open..

i had a serbian exchange guy attached to the same pharmacy as me. and it's really funny when he asked what's good to do in singapore. of course i replied shopping! duh..

haha and he was like nooooooo...no more malls! haha..

he's really interested in clubbing though..haha..and a tree-shaped drinking place called the fairy tale! no idea what's that too...

weekends hurry on here pls...oh gosh it's just monday but the soles of my feet are like aching already..

went for rochor tauhuey after work with carmen. so much for watching my diet..i ended up eating a couple of youtiaos and a little of carmen's butterfly..

was sooo tired after that, i felt like i was floating a little while walking back to the train station. as in i sort of felt i was just drifting..wasn't very much aware of the surroundings...

can't seem to get something off my mind and i've been sorta using clandestine tactics..dangggggggg.....i hope they don't come back to haunt me...


anyways, the laptop is finally back but now the net connection is being such a bitch. tmr's the start of preceptorship and i'm soo not prepared. i guess it's coz i'm so not rested. it's like 1am and i've yet to bathe, i've just ironed my work clothes and i feel like a wreck! boo...

owells, at least my dad is fetching me to work tmr. yay yay..he's gonna fetch my mum and sis to work and sch respectively too so it's like a car pool kinda thing..feel excited for some reason! crazy..

did a number of meetups last week. and i really dread meeting ppl whom i've not met for some time. because they'd always have this pained look whenever they bring it up. ugh..it's making me rethink my decision. did i do it because of family? because that'd make me really selfish. crap crap crap...
CRAP my laptop is now sitting in some repair place somewhere in senoko coz bitbit bit through the adaptor wire..spoiling all my last minute tv serial catchup plans...

feel like my hols are coming to an end so soon. have been working my ass off these past few weeks and spending the remainder on catchups and outings. i've spent like literally only two days home this hols. gonna head home everyday once preceptorship starts.

okay this is gonna be a short one coz i've work tmr at 9am. and i fall aslp so frequently at this workplace, i better not do so anymore!

and tmr is real exciting coz dhana is finally coming back to singapore!!!! wheee!! have been putting off visits to the hair salon coz of you, dhan! gonna meet carmen after work as well!

then i hope the rest of the week wld pass quickly coz i'll be working at expo ):

as the hols pass, i feel the dread in me build up each day i wake up. because preceptorship is drawing near! and instead of the fun i was imagining when i've received my posting (coz somehow all the pharm ppl i lurve got the same posting), i see the pictures of fellow pharmacy mates slaving over thick drug ref books, i hear of the endless reading ups to be done, and i totally feel their fatigue! eeks..my last week of fun before i get sold to hospital pharmacy slavery!

anyways she made these cupcakes for sab's bdae surprise. but dang! we got busted by sab...coz greg, sher and i were in greg's car when we headed out of the simpang carpark to get huilin and zy AND drove by mike and sab in mike's car..WITH THE CAR'S INNER LIGHTS ON!!! coz we were writing in sab's card and forgot to turn it off!!!! argh sooo wasted...when sher shouted that sab saw us, there was like pandemonium in the car!!!! haha...



last sunday of the sem before reading week was like this super busy day! service, then yixuan's bdae celeb then meetup with the relatives!

then i had to leave for my father's side relatives gathering...the cousins who migrated to philippines came back during their school break..

my uncle put his entire family of him and my aunt, their five kids and two maids in a serviced apartment which makes sense of course since they were gonna be here for 3 weeks. after dinner we young 'uns trooped down to lounge to play pool. my dad wanted to tag along. well, i thought it was because he wanted to let his five sisters chitchat and catch up and being a guy, i guess he wasn't really gonna enjoy that.

but to my surprise, my dad is like a pro at pool!!! my sis and i sat there awe-struck man...

hello? like whatever happened to passing down of skills to the next generation!!!

but after that, we were all 'wooo go papa!!!!'

each time, it was his turn, he would knock out like 3 to 4 balls in a roll...tsk tsk...must be one of those guys who spent all his time in his teens spending his allowance on pool!

then my aunt had to tell me that at his 21st bdae, his party had like dimmed lights and disco music! okay..totally put my dad in a different light in my eyes...

i mean this was the guy who just told me, 'aeh let's go bagdonnalss to try the new green leaf ice cream'...haha..so cute laa!

one of my young cousin who kept shouting, 'let me play let me play let me play!' aiyooo and he was really persistant..so all the uncles decided to just give in in the end...

and that marked the day before i had to start mugging for the exams...shudders! don't want to think of studying or touching anything pharm-related..2 more weeks to go before preceptorship!
i guess this was one of those one week that i should have been studying more than playing..went almost everyday to the library with carmen. but ended up dozing off most of the time. so carmen introduced me to some online sushi game that kept me awake but away from any studying ):
