the weekend went past with little work done yet again. really need to sit down and start working on my project. now that my sis is starting to sit at the dining table to do her tutorials, i'm hoping that it'd inspire me to start doing work at home too.

brought my grandma out for a meal today since i've received my first paycheque. was a great meal..awesome food easy banter..went to the hokkaido fair as well. my house now has a stockpile of food i term 'nono fare'. ice cream, durian, pudding, jap mochi, breadtalk stuff, cheesecake. my mum spent 20mins in front of the fridge re-organising it coz we couldn't stuff anything else inside.

saturday was a little crazy though..went a little crazy with the retail therapy even though i was supposed to just pick up something for someone. met the jc class after that at hotel rendezvous and then the stragglers left over after the dinner went to paradiz for a bout of l4d. i do not understand how i can be so lousy at a game. greg who sat beside me kept slapping his head at my clumsiness..haha i just sat that cringing.

titus kidnapped my LiNUS! sher & sab got me the NUS lion for my commencement..oh gosh i'm really touched! thanks guys! honestly when i first saw it during the gown collection, i didn't really fancy it much, then when mike got it for sab's commencement, i began to think maybe i'd want one. and now i have it, and it's wearing the purple hood! adore it!

and commencement was fun! somehow because of our class of honours and surnames, joy and i were right after each other to receive our scrolls! how much of a coincidence was that! and i love my bunch of pharm friends. here's us attempting to look all cult-like..haha radical idea by parry!

miss them a little already even though we meet almost every saturday. everyone's just gonna get real busy and weighed down by work. still have to meet for crazy outings alright!

this week will be my last week at DI, i surprisingly enjoyed my time here. gonna meet a few friends this week and then there's shape run at the end of the week. my knees and thighs are aching from taking to the track just after 9 days of not running )): anyhows the shape run singlet is nicee..it's bright pink you see..

alright have to rush my proposal for my project..i wanna stay at home during the weekday! it's been forever since i woke up feeling the afternoon sun on my face. okay lazy thoughts be banished!

it's 3.30am..time to head to bed. have been working on my proposal for the last hour. finally got rid of the inertia to start. jack johnson is a good companion in the middle of the night. the sound of mahjong tiles from my neighbour's is really a comfort. somehow my eyelids are still not as heavy as my heart is.
