hmmm..i don't know where to start blogging! blame it on me being lazy...shall start from way before puaysian left.
today's the first day since he left that i have nothing on..woke up at 1pm! yay! it feels good waking up this late..on the other hand. i think i've just lost one whole morning.
somtime last month, puaysian and i gave in to our sakae craving and went to the suntec branch to pig out.
while waiting for 3pm to arrive ('cause the teatime buffet only started at 3) we made use of the time to take peektures! since he's not in spore, he won't kill me for posting this picture!
him pigging out. i don't like that thing he's holding. i know there's a name for that kind of sushi. but i forgot what. is it called maki? i HATE maki..i can't see the nice stuffing properly at all.
i like the suntec branch. they're damn damn efficient. we ate so much! our favourite sushi is the unagi one. we ordered ten at a go!
damn full after that lar. i could still go on. but i was scared of getting the same tummy pains i had after the steamboat thing at sab's place.
went to take photos with the marche cows after that. he chose one with red horns. but i think he was just too embarrassed and chose the nearest one to him.
but i took my time and chose ms action-hero cow. yay! go pink!
met my mum after that for more shopping at mango and dinner. we saw this.
made of clay! angel clay to be exact. but they looked damn soft and real.
and this photo was taken on the day i went with the pharmers to recce the changi beach site for the camp games. note the huge ship at the back. sigh! the coincidences.
rushed home after that cause my mum planned a lunch at meritus mandarin.
at...hmm..the photo says it all.
had to take the lift to the 72 floor and then we still had to climb up a flight of nice-carpeted stairs.
to be greeted by a live 3-men band. i stopped at the penultimate step to take this photo. when i climbed the last step, my heels got stuck. and the double bass player grinned at me. thanks arh.
yay. chocolate fondue. too many servings made you pukish though. and there were very very little food.
the oven-baked vol au vent was one of the nicer things.
there were snails too!
and the oyster bar.
i tried both the snails and the oysters. funny thing was i managed to swallow the snail but i spat out the oysters. i never did like the 'hum's in char kway teow and laksa! the snails tasted like the sauce at first. garlicky. and then they tasted like the soil in the garden. no. i've never eaten garden soil before. but i smelled it before. and the snails tasted the way garden soil smelled.
my favourite pastries! the first time i tried them was at robinsons. didn't see them ever since then. they looked like hamburgers. and they had jam or cream inside them. anyway knows what they're called?
deserts galore. they all looked too pretty to be eaten. and i guess that's true. they didn't taste as good as they looked.
and the best part about a revolving restaurant. yeap. the view! every changing. i could even see the esplanade.
my dad had to leave earlier. leaving the three of us girls to go shop.
sigh. the digicam pics are taking like forever to load. which makes me realise i'm late as usual. gg for band practice later. but i still want to check out what's left of the zara sale and i wanna see how this crumpler backpack actually looks in the shops.
so i'll leave the rest of the blogging for another day! ciaoz!
