THE SCHOOL TERM IS COMING TO AN END. i say this not with great happiness but with a twinge of sadness. this sem has been one of the greatest for me.
maybe it's coz of the helllish sem last year, that makes whatever comes after it a bed of roses. but i've got to say that it's definitely because of the people around me.
tuesday lunch have been one of the high points of the week for me. trying to squeeze all of us into a 6-sitter and heading to the milo van after have been real nice to look back on.
also, i used to dislike going back with anyone on the train home. going back alone gives me time for some shut eye or a little time with myself. but this sem, going back with weiqi and sometimes some of the others, filling the ride home with chatter has been a real nice alternative.
french classes with niron have been going great too. we've got to know a bunch of people from classes. and hanging out between tutorial and lecture in the arts canteen with them have made 8am tuts a little more bearable.
and of course there's joy. a real swell friend to be with....i think getting to know her better was the turning point in my uni ed. the things i love most doing with her has no doubt got to be laughing over trivial matters. a particularly hilarious incident was when a not to be named friend who sat in between us during lecture, fell aslp and scratched a certain part of his/her anatomy without realising....MAJOR LAUGHING FIT!
of course not all the fun evolved around the pharmacy ppl. this sem has got to be the most time i've spent with my jc mates in a long time. supper at prata places and mj sesh at greg's and the cookout at sab's place...can't wait til the exams are over and these can resume.
two more weeks til the end of sch term. i guess it'll pass pretty quickly..sigh!
