Day DEUX of sydney!

at last..no more chinese food..i wore my cardigan and jacket to breakfast because it was simply too cold in the morning..whatever happened to summertime?

we had remaining time after brekkie before boarding the tour bus. so we returned to our rooms and had some fun with the self-timer (:

and off we go on the bus at 8am..slept awhile on the bus until we hit the first toilet stop. and i saw this contraption at the back of the door of the cubicle. some syringe disposal thing..wow whee..it isn't illegal to shoot up in aussie...

and look what i found at the cafe near the toilet stop..my favourite Weis!!! the macadamia was good!

and soon we were at the first activity of the day!

some vineyard/wine making place with lots of wine barrels!

so our entire tour group sat around this demo place and tasted a dozen different types of wines..ooh dessert wines are the best! they're soo sweet...

funny labels on the wine bottles..there were others that said OLD TART TURNS 50...

here's me flushing from all the wine we tried! ugh!

some vintage-looking truck

out in the vineyards!

lunch was at some pub opened in the day so i guess it'll be called a bistro!

we had fish and chips! mmm..

and brownie and fresh cream after..since it was fresh cream i just dug in coz it tasted wonderful! gained a little more bye-bye arms coz of that!

next stop was hunter valley gardenss...and summer finally arrived or something. it was sooo hot and the sun was scorching! but it was a really beautiful place with loads of flowers and blooming greens everywhere. we couldn't really enjoy it much though as it was too freaking hot!

lots of xmas decor around the whole place.

my sis snapped this while i was waiting for the three of them to get ready so i could help them take a pic! look at the lovely flowers..

we took lots of jump shots around the place. but after this was taken, i was so high on the beautiful views around me and all the adrenaline so i started skipping all around the place..running down the grassy slopes instead of staying on the concrete paths. and somehow i managed to drop the camera. ugh...but my dad and i managed to find it in the end..

but there was no time for the lovely souvenir shop..as i breezed through it to the bus where everyone was waiting, i saw lots of nice humongous garden hats and flowery nice stuff ))):

we stopped five minutes away from the gardens at this place selling chocholates. but my family decided to settle down at a cafe nearby for my mum's daily afternoon coffee and more gelato!

and i found this mineral water bottle with a funky name.

after that it was back to our lodging for the night. some resort...which was soo beautiful i'd prefer it over the hotel.

and if you click on this photo, the banner says that it has australia's longest swimming pool. basically it's a pool that encircles the whole resort. we took a dip in it in the evening and we took forever to go just one round. i can't swim without goggles though )): i rem telling my sis to warn me if i was heading towards the wall because i decided to swim with my eyes closed. the next thing i knew i swam into the wall and came up to lots of laughter from my family ))):

but one thing about being away from the city was that there was nothing to do at night!! so we headed to the smaller heated swimming pool to see how warm it was. it wasn't. so my sis and i invaded the gym to play around with their treadmill and stairclimber. and i found it so adorable that my parents decided to just sit on one of the benches and read the papers.

so we headed back to our rooms to play more with the self-timer! it takes 5 shots everytime so we could have a short pictorial...haha...

here's me playing our mum and bernice playing our dad...

momo: why are you always sleeping!

momo: i'm gonna wake you up!
muffin: *spider-sense*

momo: punch you!!
muffin: peace peace!

i found this furry brown blanket in the cabinets..gonna get one next time!! then i'll blast the aircon and hide under it!

then we found some fake apples....and bernice started juggling it towards the end...

trying to look the part of a old granny...

and that's it for day 2!
