i'm especially amused every single time i enter my bedroom and see bitbit lying on the bed waiting for me. i've never seen it yet but i always wondered how she jumps up, the distance from the floor to my bed is not something to scoff at. but it gives me a nice warm feeling to have someone waiting for you to go to bed.
Day 2 of Tokyo saw us shopping around the area we were staying in the morning. We took the cool ultraviolet lift to the top of the ikebukuro lookout and back down again hah..cheap thrill. still, it was one of the fastest lift in the world. we couldn't go back to tokyo, stay at ikebukuro and not take a ride on that lift.
here's how we usually find our dad after we exit from shops. we'll be rushing into an interesting-looking shop, staying in there for hours and when we come out, we'll find my dad finding some place to rest and wait for us lady-folks haha.
momo and i at the pretty glass art display at ginza train station
the same shop we saw at the basement of ginza station two years back, different window display, but still as eye-catching as ever.
we exited onto the streets of ginza via the sony building and they were having this exhibit of the different types of sunflowers because it was summer
the massive junction with crossings zig-zagged all over it
we settled down for lunch at this quaint restaurant that sits only five at any one time. here's the folks waiting for their food.
haha they both were adopting the same poses so we had to as well!
my dad and sis had tonkatsu with jap curry
i had the katsudon
and my mum had some tempura prawn thingy
after lunch, we marched into fancl where i topped up my supplies, my mum visited their flower display area on the 2nd floor and all of us had sips of collagen
we then attempted to look for this famous anpan bread store along the streets of ginza, couldn't find it and asked for directions at this roadside police post hah. here's bee outside the store.
the shop assistants would stand behind crates of anpan bread and give out samples of bread with different fillings which helped us loads because we couldn't read the japanese signs at all
they sold other breads and scones as well..which all looked soo good...
the lv window display had golden balloons spelling their name!
outside itoya, this stationary store where you can get all your jap-brand pens
last stop of the day was the shiseido parlour to get daintily-wrapped confectionaries and cookies before heading back to rest our exhausted feet
our haven for the night, a very very very small one haha...
