have an arsenal of backdated posts. so here's how the last weekend went before the new one starts.
we had the weekly family food haunt on saturday instead. and it saw us heading down to my dad's childhood neighbourhood of commonwealth to try the zi char at this place called two chefs. the butter pork chops and the cereal huge prawns were good stuff man.
stomach filled but our appetite fuelled by the awesome food, we went off in search of desserts. found this place called bee garden. mango pomelo. durian penget ice. chendol. three dates cheng ting. we kept finishing one bowl and ordering another. the shop keeper must have been gleefully having ringing cash till sounds in her head.
my dad dropped us gals off at orchard. and boy did we soak up the xmas festive cheer! love the light-up at orchard! did some shopping. crabtree & evelyn was having a 20% off specials so while my mum and sis were deciding what to buy, i went round the shop spritzing eau de toilettes and smattering on hand lotion. the india hicks range smells sooo good.
and then we were hungry again so it was refuelling time at ion's food hall!
and i've been waking up in the middle of the night feeling super hungry. so comfort food. instant mee pok with sausage!
and sunday was spring-clean the extra room day. we dismantled my one year old birthday gift. sniffs!!
and i found lots of old-school toys beneath all the crevices.
