Bangkok was an amazing experience for G and me. We immersed ourselves in the heat of the city and went to crazy beautiful places. Vertigo at Banyan Tree Bangkok was one of them.
And nothing beats having a picturesque view with awesome company.
Had some cocktails before our dinner at another location. The staff were very attentive, one of them came over to make recommendations as i took a long time choosing my drink as yours truly is allergic to alcohol. It didn't feel intrusive at all. So I had Sex on the Moon. Was light and fruity.
The boyfriend had Long Island Tea. He told me it was strong, as most would claim. Think i acted more tipsy than him even though i didn't finish my drink.
High above the city, there's a different sort of calm. No longer do you hear the bustling of the streets. Just soft jazz and the occasional gust when the wind picks up at this altitude. We spent the evening hand in hand, sipping our drinks, with our entire getaway ahead of us. Truly blessed to be able to enjoy this wonderful view in the company of G. Wouldn't exchange this experience for anything in the world.
