went to visit my teacher in hospital today! his wife just gave birth to a baby! SKYLER!!

the baby is so so so so cute!! argh!

went to gleneagles hospital! the place i was born many many years ago..close to 19 years ago!



just look at him! SKYLER darling..he's the cutest thing ever! cuter than the bunnies i like!



for some reason..babies seem very fragile and delicate to me..i almost didn't dare to touch him..

mr cheng was telling us how painful and eventful the birth process was while his wife was trying to breastfeed so we went outside to chat a little..made me totally put off having a baby..

but once i went in and saw the little bundle, i couldn't stop coo-ing! he was just so adorable and smiley..



we went to chill at subway for dinner after that..picture of the gals! had a hard time trying to take a picture that was not blurred cause chang ming kept disturbing!

came home and started chatting on the phone..called carmen shijia andrea huiping cuicui and serena! haa..this toot carmen might not be going zouky zouk after all! DAMN!


sigh..terrible eyebags are still not gone..
FINALLY! gosh..the sem is finally officially over! *whoops in delight*

reached home after having dinner with puaysian yesterday! was terrified by the dark eye bags i had! gosh! but i had eternal eyebags like that during jc!

went out with puaysian on monday..we went to bugis and all the christmas deco were up! the stuff behind us were real hand-made christmas goodies that they stuck to the walls for decorations! it smelled heavenly!

i wanted to drink my green tea pearl as usual..but couldn't find it on the damn board and the aunty was hurrying me to order! suddenly i caught sight of the word green tea on this poster they hung up! so i just read from the poster...

"erm..one green tea ice blended.."

while she was preparing mine and bed-basher's drink..i was thinking green tea ICE-BLENDED??!!? oh no!! i want the liquidy one! but thought aiyoh..ordered then aunty making already then try lor!

AND IT WAS GOOD!

on the topic of bubble tea..carmen brought her drink to finish at the library..i was really bored and didn't want to study so i told her that one pearl eaten was 22 calories..

haa..then she told me her friend told her one lor mai kai was only 16 calories! wth?!

then i started bursting out laughing!! yes..we were in the library..

i just realised both of us just consumed the equivalent of twenty something lor mai kais can?

I"M SO TIRED! slept at 3.30am last night mugging for my samurai module!

the paper was great! haa...first paper i felt confident in but i s/u-ed this module so let's not talk bout it anymore.

met puaysian today after crashing at my hostel after my paper at bugis..

we watched harry potter and the goblet of fire! i lurve the beginning with the awesome graphics and bits that made my jaw drop!

went back to hall to get my jeans..haa..left two pairs in my room so i do not have enough to tide me through this exam period..don't wish to care bout how i'm sitting when i don't even have time to finish the paper..

haa..went to visit andrea in her chinlin's room before kay-kianging and deciding to take bus number 10 all the way back to tampines! oh..how my butt hurts!

and dear england guard..sigh! so sorry! you mean the world to me! to tell you the truth..i'm quite bitter that u went to the wcg opening and had steamboat. but the main crux of it all was that you had fun while i was slogging away..i'm a easily jealous pig! you can pinch my nose from pasir ris to boon lay and back! i won't complain..i won't even whimper...okay?

RARRR!! I HATE EXAMS!! feel so tired and tired and tired that i can't think of other words to replace tired....

i miss the good old days where i won't have to worry bout studying. back then i had so much time to laze around and attend to people's needs..

i'm old now..i need more time to study and absorb..not the labile sponge my brain was in the past anymore.

i miss finishing up all my homework in 30 mins during sec sch. then it was the nice 'sight-seeing' bus ride to tampines mall with serena and sometimes for a treat, carmen would come along! when the sun sets, i went home, ate dinner, bathed, watch tv, chat on the phone and slept!

when i met puaysian, it was still cool know..gave up most of my time with serena for him..oh well! serena had brian too..and it was fun! i loved it in the past when we wouldn't know where to go even when we boarded the train..it was fun exploring singapore like a tourist..chatting endlessly bout stuff! and feeling damn happy when i reached home!

OH WELL! have to start thinking positively!

well..here goes!

good news: exams will end in just 12 days later!

anyway i had a blast last friday when i followed my mother to her fave makeup brand Clinique's launch of their new christmas sets. haa..yeah..i know i was supposed to be studying but this is too good an opportunity to pass on.

haa..my mum bought enough makeup stuff to get a mini fridge in the end! haa..and we had free makeovers from the best make-up artist of clinique. feeling a high from all the possession of new make-up! haa..totally dig clnique now!!

oh well..going back to the library..guess this week will consist mainly of library visitings!
yes yes..the all freakish mugging season as started. countdown of 8 more days before my first paper. OMG! i didn't realise the exams were THAT near until i just counted the days before..

i was just about to feel mightily proud of myself for finishing two chapters of anatomy today! i did nervous system 1 & 2! haa..kinda like the brain part!
BUT i was supposed to finish these two chapters yesterday!!

manz..oh well! at least i have the night to start on what i was supposed to complete today: NINE CHAPTERS OF DRUG ACTION! argh!!

i did something terrible today! gosh!
had a terrible craving for condensed milk the minute i woke up..so i dug out the jar of condensed milk my mother hid at the back of the fridge (to dissuade us from using the new jar before we finish off the old one) and ate 7 spoonsful of it..

*everyone say it together now HOLY SHIT*

sigh..i know i know..i can't stop myself..felt damn guilty bout it.
but it's already in my tummy!

because i was slowly but delightedly devouring my condensed milk..
i was late to meet sab even though she commented on how early i woke up..sorry gal! late again..

we finally finished our project today..sab being the perfectionist she is taught me how important it was to put all your efforts into making the final product great..our finished essay was really good and the cover page she made was really professional..I LIKE!

today reminded me of PW = project work in year 1..thought i totally hated it then..i kinda missed the times i had with my group during that period..

REMINISCING...

the millions of times we had to stay back under LT1 until we figured out what time in the evening the mosquitoes started feeding and what time the two birds who stayed under LT1 in a nest perched near the ceiling came home.....

the time we played the great scissors paper stones tournament to find out who the best player was to find out that there was no real winner cause the overall 'winner' eventually lost to the overall 'loser'.....

the times we stayed over at ching's house..our group will never forget the incidence when our group carried out a missive hunt for ching to discover her taking a nap in her spare room..what happened after that totally scare the wits out of us..erm..at least me!
she roared and charged at us..the four of us hurriedly scrambled out of her path..trying not to wake her family up..it was like 3am!

the time i forgot to bring a newspaper report on the day of submission and had a minor break-down..i was devastated manz!

it was a totally fun experience that i'll hold close to me...the whole PW process was so long that it outlived ching's dog and hamster..

ching's dog had to be put down because it was diagnosed as being senile..

the hamster case was quite sad..in the middle of my work..i being a furry animal lover went to disturb the hamster..'psst psst..hamsssder!' had to whisper so that the rest didn't realise i was missing..the hamster didn't stir like it usually did normally..so i -chey don't want to care bout me? i don't care bout you- and walk away..later ching told us that her hamster went in the middle of the night! gosh! so sad u noe...

but with lives taken away..we had new ones arriving..serene had her brand-new cutiepie dear 'lemon', her _______ (erm..i forgot what species) bird arriving in the course of PW...

I MISS PW!!!!!



i was with sab and her friend and her friend's friend (oooh..that makes her my friend's friend's friend!) at arts..opposite the co-op when this women came up to us and said, 'i have something for you guys...'

immediately my -suspicious you must be trying to selling us something go away- look was brandished..but it quickly dissolved when she told us that she was going to let us try Red Bull - the drink that gives you wings drink..whaha!

i haven't tried Red Bull in my whole life before

take that look off your face you pigger alot of other people also haven't tried it before kay!!!

but i heard all sort of myths bout this mysterious energy-giving drink....

carmen told me that during the o (or was it a) levels..she needed one can of that every night to keep her awake during studying..this gradually increased to three cans i think! so freaky! it's like drugs manz!

sab told me her sis was so addicted it. she just kept drinking it and gained alot of weight!

my verdict after trying it: i think it taste sucky! it tasted like bubblegum (you know those pink ones that gives you big bubbles) flavoured drink..sho sweet! ME NO LIKE...

had a cup of coffee in the afternoon too..

with all the caffeine coursing through my blood now..it's no surprise i'm still wide awake at this unwordly time of 4.08am..

i shall end it with a little story bout miss octopussy and mr birdie

miss octopussy was terribly late for a meeting with mr birdie..

she was terribly terrified (think my vocab sucks? think again..terrible is not the same as terrified kaaay) and rushed as fast as her short legs allowed her..

though mr birdie appeared moody and bin chow at first..he forgave miss octopussy after punishing her..

it was a horrifying punishment that no one would wish to go through...

she had to let him pinch her nose for the period during which the train travelled from dover to commonwealth..imagine the humiliation!!

luckily for miss octopussy..she was short and not that visible..

unluckily for mr birdie..miss octopussy had a very oily nose..

-fast forward lar kay? i suddenly very tired..caffeine has finally worn out-

mr birdie and miss octopussy walked along the streets looking for miss octopussy's beloved dish - bak kut teh...

they finally found it in a old dingy dirty coffee shop but boy did the bak kut teh taste good!

as the sun set and the sky became a sea of black, mr birdie and miss octopussy walked side by side....eating ice cream!

vanilla choc cornetto for mr birdie and the creamy inner with lime covering one (i forgot the name of it again!) for miss octopussy..

and they lived happily ever after.....until mr birdie decided to make the *chut chut* sound to attract bats and ended up dropping his cone.....


okay..i think this will be my last long post for a long long time until the dreaded exams are over..let's all lift our mugs up high and mug hard guys!

with the last public holiday dating back to august..it being national day..

the generally well-liked public holidays are back again! with not one...but TWO of them right smack in the middle of the week!

had my physical pharm test today in the dreadful true and false format..only started studying last night at 11pm though..but the test paper looked like a joke..it was only a one page test with 20 true or false questions!

WHAT!?!

haa..yeah..and my gut feeling was right on! most of the questions that i GUESSED the answers turned out to be right! and drug action CA2 marks came out on ivle too..

my lecturer comments for me was 'Has shown improvement. Well done.' YIPPEEE!!!

haa..finally can relax abit..wriggle my toes..and breath normally! i'm not that stupid after all!

kay..first of all! i'm really excited bout sunday..though it was meant to be mugging day...

alarm clock woke me up at 9am..i woke up only to switch off the alarm...

the next time i regained conscience was when my mother shook me awake telling me that i should get this sony ericsson phone..the brochure made it looked really really nice..this combined with drowsiness made me almost get it..

so after a frantic but fruitless search around the house for my charger..i rushed down to tampines mall to meet my mum! and boy..was it fortunate that i went down..i SO wanted to laze around at home..

i saw the freaking phone with the handle that my mother almost got me to buy in my sleep-induced haziness and it was FUGLY..yeah..and the camera was super lousy!

haa..so i got my mother to buy to buy the sony ericsson k600 instead!
















haa..she wanted to get the phone long ago..but the price back then was abit hefty and since my mother only needed a basic phone she thought against getting it..

she said in her all-famous-in-our-family words..'it's like buying a lorry to go to the market'..

but i traded in my current phone for $100 since i'll be getting a new one when my contract ends two weeks later whoopee! so she paid less..

when we got to the counter..the lady at the cashier charged us $100 lesser! haa..we were like har?! until we realised her singtel credit card gave her $100 off 3G phones..and she got her phone for like only $200..

haa..thanks to me! i was the one who persuaded her to get the 3G phone..haa..and the phone is one helluva 'lorry' manz!

it has a 1.3 megapixel camera! that's enough to print a reasonably clear 3R photo manz..and radio! for the first time on sony ericsson..

so exciting!!!!!!

can't wait to get my new phone..i just want something that will still look good 1 year plus down the road..nothing too fancy..

thinking of the motorola RAZR..slim phone that i can slip into my pocket! haa..we'll see!















i miss my old phone though..it might be very old-school and not that slim and elegant but i like the fact that i can leave it around without anyone wanting to steal it..whaha!

i got it after i lost my previous phone just 6 months after i got it..sigh! so decided to get something not expensive..

after that went to queue for this crazy sale thingy that tampines mall had going on...

spend $150 and get to buy $50 vouchers at $10..

after me and my mum got the vouchers..i realised that it cannot be used at hello! shops..so i cannot use it to get my phone! boohoo..

BUT it can be used at isetan and my mum can use it to get her make-up at clinique OR we can use it for the upcoming MANGO SALE!!

I CAN'T WAIT!!

but exams coming up before that..bleah...

going to rest awhile before starting to mug again..i just finished my CAs for goodness sake!

am going swimming tmrw with my family at changi!! haa..it's a long time since i swam! kinda excited..and my sis will finally get to use her NEW swimming costume..haa! she bought it during the GSS (psst..the great singapore sale) and hasn't used it 'til now..

anyway my mother introduced me to this puzzle in TODAY newpapers! fun! it's called sodoku puzzles..and it's really fun! go try it! TODAY newpapers are free anyway!
