i'm getting really irritated by the people around me in class!

sigh..they are so hardworking! it's like uni for goodness sake! last chance to enjoy studying!!!

sometimes in lectures..i just feel like sitting back to relax and just take in everything leaning back..but no! i can't..because everybody around me is scribbling notes..even for my slackest module which is all about the basics of pharmacy..it's always notes-taking ALL THE TIME!

gosh..isn't it tiring? okay...then you might say why don't i just hack care the rest and just be a slacker and not scribble notes down...

WELL! other than the fact that it's stressing me out! the people around me constantly ask me to repeat what the teacher just said!

'aeh..so low blood pressure lead to low blood flow then the afferent arterioles dilate so what will juxtaglomerular cells do again?'

at this point..my head is going...'oh shit! what was that you were saying again? oh manz..did i just mean some impt concept?'

it's stressful lar!

anyway! carmen get well soon and i'm waiting for that letter!

oh yeah..i went eyebrow threading with sab yesterday at little india!

OMG! it freaking hurts so much!!!!

looking back on my entries in the beginning..i realised that it was much more interesting in the past than now..

in terms of literature!

haa..now i just get lazy and *piak* all the photos here then write captions and small little momentos to remind me of what happened if i read through them in the future..

i sure like to read blogs with lots of photos..but i myself want to keep a blog with lots of well-written entries filled with all the tiny details of my life that i can look back on and smile with warmth in the future!

anyway going to school today was much more fun than yesterday!

yesterday was HORRIBLE! guess it was the monday blues...*squeaks!!!*

today was a new nicer day..haa..as usual i arrived 20 mins late for my english tutorial!! oops! haa..but i like my tutorial teacher! he didn't dress like a teacher at all manz! that's kewl! haa...

had a one hour break before biochem tutorial! haa..it was quite interesting..cause we had a firedrill!!! whee! yeap..in nus..OMG! i walked pass the alarm and was momentarily deafened by that stupid thrilling thing! ring ring ring non-stop!

felt a little of my gastric coming back after that..weird! cause i had alot for breakfast! i had one cup of choc milk, many many prawn rolls!, one slice of baked cheese bread and ONE pineapple tart! haa..alot right? so it's weird that the doctor diagnosed me with gastric cause i ate so much!

lunch with huilin and joy was fun as we relieved our shildhood memories about our canning incidences! so hilarious! and then yuantai and zhiwei joined us cause our next lesson was at freaking 4pm! another 2 hours break!

and for the first time i guess..i made my way to buona vista mrt from nus without huilin!!! was jumping from group to group to find people to talk to..

talked to some vadar ppl..may may then on the bus i had kiki for company the whole way! and i got a freaking seat on the train..aiyoh! think i fell asleep and quite unglamourously too!

haa..kept jerking awake to check that i wasn't drooling! i can tell you all about my drooling incidences if you want! haa..

oh manz! i'm supposed to spend tonight studying since there weren't any nice shows after 10pm! sooooo off i'm going now!!!

oh yeah! hope you guys caught victoria's secrets ydae....droolsssssss...............

OMG!!!!

i can't take it anymore..school life is driving me nuts...what with having to find people to do projects with..the countless TUTORIALS!

oh stop it! tutorials this sem are driving me nuts..out of 5 modules i have tutorials for 4 freaking modules!!! OMG!

school today was from 8am to 6pm!!! i.a.m.s.o.t.i.r.e.d!!!

thank goodness i changed my tutorials from 5pm to 1pm during my break...

speaking of break..i met sher and huilin for lunch at...no surprise..holland v again! haa..sher brought us to the food court where we ate 'la mian'...

as familiar as it sounded to me..i had no idea what 'la mian' was..it wasn't very tasty but the sauces they used were good! still $4.50 for a bowl of noodles at a food court showed that most people who frequent holland v are those with fat wallets..

not good for me...my wallet quite thin at the moment lar...

after spending the whole sat and sun preparing for my tutorials..i still have tons to do!!! sigh..

after school went out with *ahem* and *ahem* to suntec and marina square..haa! it's a big surprise! so i'm not allowed to reveal what we did for the time being..haa!

but it left me so tired..and hungry!

guess what?!?!

i spent $2.55 on the pick and mix sweets from mini toons! sigh..$2.55 on sweets i know i will never finish...

$2.55 to make me fat!

haa..guess what..after i fell ill on thurs..i lost 2kg!!! whee!!! haa..but i think i gained it back from all the new year goodies munches already..haa..i made beeyewtiful pineapple tarts!!! pics soon!!

another long day tmrw..9am to pm..so going to hit the sacks!!! nitey y'all!
didn't attend lessons today..

sigh! i fell prey to illness in less than the first two weeks of reopening of the school term...

must be my almost-disfunctioned immune system..due to a serious lack of exercise..it has permanently shut down...

spent the whole day at home save for the trip to the doctor's..

she diagnosed me with gastric pain! bleah..i had thid disgusting medicine..magnesium something..but i have to admit it really works..

for the whole day..i felt giddy and nauseous whenever i was standing..

even climbing up two flight of stairs made me feel like fainting!

alot better now that i've taken that disgusting-tasting stuff!

it's been two weeks since school has started! almost i guess..after tmrw..it'd officially be two weeks!

amusingly, it's been like the hols..alot of going out!!! whaha...

let's catch up with the past fortnight!

haa..can see the huge mess in my room! look at all the storybooks..haa! harry potter woo!!!

i reached lessons 20 mins late..no biggie! haa..broke my resolution already..seems that old habits are hard to break...

haa..went to wisma after that with puaysian to get his new year stuff..it's so torturous! going shopping with someone who HAS to buy stuff when i want to get stuff but already overbought...

yay!!! he has beautiful clothes!!! I LIKE!!!

made a trip to queensway shopping centre to look for puaysian's shoes!!!


all ladies's shoes as you can see!

puaysian bought this fake lizard for $1 that has brought lotsa luffs to both his and mine family! haa..totally worth it...CAUSE it looks damn real!!! (fooling around to be revealed later on)


he also bought me this voodoo doll handphone thingamagic that is horribly disfigured by now...


guess what?! puaysian didn't get anything BUT my fingers were so itchy from not being able to shop on monday that i got myself the following pair of shoes!!!

OMG! haa..but it was a nice pair of shoes!


on the way to orchard after queensway..we saw kaypoh road!!!

had to return to queensway the nxt day cause the shoes were too humongous for me..they would slip off when i walk..

sigh..i didn't really try them on before i bought them because i was so sure i was an adidas size 6...

so i headed back to that shop and got the blue and white shoe you guys see below...the darker blue one..


didn't like it as much as the one i bought so i decided to get the replacement pair for my sis as the pink one i adored had no more size!!!

but my sis was kinda happy i guess cause she had been lusting over the pair i got for her in the end..

puaysian got his shoes on the same day too..this pair from zara that totally suited him!!! haa..think his new year's clothes this year is like so sud and nice!

twas was the day i headed down to ntu in the far west!!!

cause carmen got me this marvelous job lobang!!! $50 for 5 hours of senang work...


it was for the standard chartered ironmen 06 event..and we were road marshals!

sunny sunny day!!! love the beautiful clouds...


one day..when i'm really really free..i'd head to a huge open area in the botanical gardens and just lie down to stare at clouds the whole day..not now though..NO TIME!

standard chartered is really rich..this was just a company's event and they ordered a whole row of BRAND NEW bikes for the event...


the gal beside me had new nike gold sneakers...HAA! in one year..it'd be as new as mine!


rich standard chartered again..boxes and boxes of goodies! how i wish i could cart off just one box of MARS..just one?


haa..it was the first time i took a lorry too..damn scary!!! my butt constantly left the earth over and over again! but it was very cooling! haa..all the wind blowing in your hair..


ntu's beautiful LT! nus don't boast such nice decor outside their LTs...


at the end of the day..they had tons of snacks left over..the organisers said we could take as much as we wanted..

haa..the scene was beautiful i tell you...

the other group of gals were grabbing handfuls of uncle toby's bars and filling their bags..

carmen's hostel was nearby so we unfortunately left our bags in her room..so i asked her to stretched out both her hands and i started piling loads of tobys into them...

very hilarious!!! we had a hard time walking back while back-trekking to pick out all the fallen tobys...

our loot!!!


43 tobbys...9 chocolate bars and 4 bottles of drinks!!! haa...

hade lunch at holland v with huilin and mr cheng who's working at the nearby moe..

been heading to holland v quite a number of time recently!

met up with the guy after lessons yet again!


we had dinner at pastamanis and had 2 rounds of daytona!!! I ALMOST WON YOU!!!! you cheated...bleah..haa! watch out manz!

oh yeah..i've yet to show you nus's nicest LT! i totally love this LT..it's on the third floor and as you can see..everyone has this huge cushioned comfy chair!!!


it's weird really..after playing around with that fake lizard..my house suddenly had sightings of small little lizards!!!

WEDNESDAY

spotlight had 20% off everything for their members..so i snitched my mum's card and off to spotlight i went! was the start of the rainy days that are still going strong today..


met puaysian for a little while after he finished school..

on the way to plaza sing..i found out that the dbs management have already changed their killer snowflake to a less deadly erm..golden coin right?


my mum had an office dinner that night so me and my sis had to get dinner ourselves..i decided to cook! haa..BE WARNED!

first of all..my very yummy cheese omelette!!!


it was really really yummy egg! my sis can swear on that...

then things got worst! first time i fried stuff! and i kept making the oil splatter EVERYWHERE!

you see..i didn't know that hot oil and water together is a huge no-no..

first time round..i didn't dry the wok before putting the oil in! ouch!

second time round..i dried the wok BUT not the thing you use to toss the food about..haa..huge explosion occured! my sis thought that i was so going to be dead already...

and yeah..there's a third accident..carmen told me to wet my hands when i was cooking so that it wouldn't feel so much of the heat..bad move..i guess that was for cooking soups only..this drop of water dripped from the tip of my last fingernail and "BOOM"...oil splattered everywhere again..sigh!

BTW..i was frying chicken..and they taste terrible..

til today..they are still in the fridge..haa..

any soul brave enough to try one piece?

haa..and my creamy pasta sauce was a huge failure..just tasted like hot milk..haa!

in the end..i opened a can of the ready-made-just-heat-up pasta sauce to go with the speghetti and boy! it tasted damn nice!!!

THURSDAY

stayed home the whole day to start on my skirt with materials i bought from spotlight!


nothing much done on thursday..just simple measuring and cutting cause my mum hasn't taught me how to use her sewing machine!

FRIDAY

decided i couldn't stay at home during the last week of my holidays!

so i planned my own outing!!!

off to holland v to visit my fave bead shop!


IT WAS SUCH A BUMMER AT FIRST MANZ....

let me explain...as usual and nothing surprising bout that..i woke up late! i planned to wake up at 9am to head out for my bead hunt!

and i was thinking! since i was heading to holland V which is super near buona vista..why not buy the XO fish bee hoon back for dinner! damn yummy i tell you!!! but it's quite expensive lar..AND if you dabao or takeaway..you have to pay $2 for this plastic container..haa..but you can bring it back and re-use it!

so i happily swung my plastic container all the way to the fish bee hoon stall!

it was exactly 1.59pm when i reached the stall! i knew because i saw the time on my phone..i glanced at the unlitted signboard and OMG! they had a rest at 2 freaking pm! so the haughty uncle having earned enough for the morning refused to sell me his bee hoon! hrmp!

they only opened for business again at 5pm! sigh sigh sigh...

having THREE hours to wait...i decided to walk to holland V from buona vista! haa..it only took 10 mins! 15 mins the most! so near!!!


getting ready and slumming around at holland V after finishing bead shopping in one hour!

holland V shopping centre is more for the expatriate's wife to hang out with her fellow mates...all antiquey and decorative!

MR LIM PUAY SIAN decided to be a great boyfriend and came to accompany me!


haa..he said he had a place to bring me to..a really nice place!

we had to cross the road to the building that housed F.O.S...and i couldn't resist popping in!!


they had so many hollister and A&F tees that were gorgeous!!! haa..i had to try all!!!

in the end..i sadly round them down to the two nicest!!!


cool!!! haa..i lurve them!!! and look who else has the same tee as me!!!


Miss kinky blue fairy...haa..just saw that picture on her blog! i was like..that tee looks damn familiar..

anyway, puaysian was totally cool bout my tee! heh!!

he brought me to this darling little cozy eating place!


it's really nice and they had ice creams in the richest nicest colour!!! and cakes of all sorts! look!!! foodie haven!!!

and guess what this is!!! haa...erm..yeap..HALF-EATEN PIZZA from that shop!


i totally adore the mushrooms! they were super juicy! but the best thing was..they are so damn cute!! they were really small and thin..damn adorable!

after that..we photo-whorred ourselved back to the fish bee hoon stall!

he was scratching his leg!!!! euyew!! haa..he said he got the itchiest bite he ever had from a mozzie!


coincidentally..we left holland V around 5.40pm..at 6 plus in the evening! a huge pipe in holland V burst and the place was covered by knee-high water!!! haaa....

okay..time to show off the necklace i made from the beads i bought...

SATURDAY

continued with my skirt in the day as my mum taught me how to use he sewing machine!!! whee!!! VERY FUN!!!


sat in the balcony to sew!!! on a rainy day......

accomplished this much before i head out to town with my sis and mum!!!


we saw mark zee at the wisma foodcourt!


he's the one wearing the trucker hat!

'Hi Mr Zee..Do you want specials?' muahahaha...

he had this really strong american accent manz! shocking! it was way more slang than on tv...

fooled around on the train cause it was a long and boring ride home!!!
