okay..so i haven't been blogging for a few days....

know saying this will make me a sad basket case but working for the past one and a half days tire me out like completely. i fell aslp STANDING on the train.

i know. it's only one and half days..i'm old and tired kay?

anyways..today's post will be on the NBC concert as obviously stated by the title. but i shall repeat it in case there're ppl out there like me who don't read titles.

it was a more subdued and laid-back event compared to the week before. somehow, the excitement and tension sort of died away. oh well! it was still rather fun at times though.

bingqing and i acting as jedis! haa..*wown wown wown* oops! which reminds me that i haven't send the photos to him and his bro.


we then turned our attention to gerald. we took delight in torturing him man. traumatised that poor young man is. haa..kevin suggested us gel-ing his and bingqing's hair. bingqing took off so.....


we had to take a photo of our final piece didn't we. oh yeah..btw it was terence who styled his hair in the end since we the guy-hair-know-nothing-s just messed his hair up.

as usual we hopped on the bus to vch. beth and i.

the guest band from japan was super entertaining. reminded me of our old tkgs days.

i just met the best receptionist in all the companies i've been to.

great personality. great mother. fast and efficient. patient. and a very good mentor.

taught me lots of stuff about life too in that short 4 hours.

gonna stop being scared of pushing myself to do stuff. instead i shall just try my best.

finally band life is going to end for a few months for me that is if i decide to join fiesta. MIXED feelings again..

was like totally distracted the whole of the time today at vch. it's not that my mind was somewhere else. my mind was just nowhere. so i was there stoning most of the time. the only time i felt real fear was just before i headed into the hall. didn't bring the gong as there weren't enough manpower. it struck me that i had to bow an unfamiliar gong and made sure i could create at least some sound out of it. i said a little prayer and thank god it was answered. it was tkgs who provided the instruments and the gong was indeed familiar to me. just how many times have i carried it up and down the stairs of tkgs?

the only other time i was present on planet earth was when i spied the chicken pie on the steps. went so close as to touching the box before derrick came along and yelled, 'move the instruments.' damn!

it's funny how sometimes you know you can't touch whimsical dreams yet your head keeps leading you back to them like how moths get attracted to flames knowing damn well they'll be burned.

there were so many times i went really near thin ice. thank god my prayer held strong and there was always something that stopped me.

all this is getting really jaded.

right! back to reality. found some really amusing peektures on my lappie. finders keepers loser weepers. i'm gonna post them ms b! haa..

right. band pictures would be out tmrw i guess. no mood to put them up now. was supposed to meet sher and leanne to sign up for our basic theory test today like finally but sher made a booboo and thought it was tues. tues it is then! which means cycling with shijia on wed! and damn work on thurs and friday! what.shall.i.do.tmrw.what.shall.i.do.tmrw. i guess since it's 2.30am now. i will sleep until 2pm then watch some telly. which would just about settle my monday. nothing better than good telly to chase away monday blues.
yay! pharm camp photos are finally out! have been waiting so long for them to appear so that i can blog bout the camp.

i arrived on the first night. erm..that's not very accurate. more precisely, my father drove me down in the wee hours of the morning on the second day. stayed up with joy to complete our board game for the our games the nxt morning! i worked the day before lae..was so tired i konked out on the sofa at 6am in front of everyone.

an hour later, i dragged myself out of the chalet to changi beach for the games.

first game was to pass toothpaste with ONLY your face, no hands allowed!

damn! singapore really no space!

xuena is in pharmacy too! one day before she left for hongkong.

they had to fish fruits out of this murky water with only their mouths..euyew!

and they had to travel from station to station like this.

the freshies were all so sporting. for this game, they had to pass cups of mealworms through their tee shirt sleeves. i would have whined non-stop but they all did it without batting an eyelid.

there was this station where the groups had roll a die to decide the number of sauces that will be mixed...

but not bad noe. they get to use plain crackers to go along with their mixed sauce.

i couldn't tahan it after the games i went back home to slp. afterall i had a straight bus home!

came back 4 hours later recharged for fright night!!!! boo.....

the fright night cast. haa...it was super fun scaring the freshies. i acted as an unwed mother.

scaaaaary....

we used chalet k for the fright night. it was situated at the bottom of the old changi hospital. that night, nobody dared to slp in the house. so wee ping and i bunked in. after lying there in the dark waiting to scare people, the house didn't appear so scary afterall. the rest of the seniors had to squeeze 10 ppl to a room. while both of us had our own bed! mmmm..

oh yeah. she won the fright night best actress for scaring at least 5 freshies to tears.

the nxt day was beach games at sentosa!!! dilys and i sneaked off to use the toilets at rasa sentosa.

acting all touristy! yikes. i couldn't get the makeup from the day before off as i had no makeup remover.

it's not a visit to the beach if your don't play volleyball!!

which i did with a few other girls while the rest of the freshies were playing war games!

that night we had a buffet and talentime.

puaysian called today in the morning at 8.30am. it was after 30 missed calls that i finally woke up to the sound of the phone vibrating. i'm sorry babe! spent an hour plus talking to him. it was good to hear from him finally. rid me of evil thoughts.

and after planning to sulk cause i've to wait 8 more days to hear from him again, bbs electronics called and got me down to work for them.

i swear the big guy up there is watching over me. occupying my time when i'm about to enter depressed mode. for that i'm thankful.

it was also a good feeling getting cash after the end of the day. for that i hope the recept there keeps taking leave!

coincidentally, as puaysian arrive in canada, carmen has just departed the very same place to head back to hot and humid singapore. the song 'it's a small world' chimes in my head at this realisation i look forward to more visits to ecp and stingray eating with her!
