okay! i'm gonna finish up blogging up the rest of the photos before school reopens. boo!!! this term break was like project week..sigh! i hate projects. i don't know how business and arts students cope. all the blardy project meetings and proposals and endless surfing net for info that eventually will lead me to reading everything under the world but stuff related to the projects.
ANYWAYS..here goes...
before sem break started, we had pharm law presentation. it was quite fun seeing everyone in the pharm getting involved in some little play of their own. my favourite was when en-tian and christina burst into the lecture theatre shouting 'POLICE!' OMG! damn real. i was sooo shocked. i thought it was real. haa..then it got hilarious seeing en-tian chasing the 'bad guy' around.
a picture i got of farveez acting like some bad-ass pharmacist. really small though.
my new butterflies-filled pencil case from paperchase from the day i went shopping with huilin.
went night-cycling on the last day of school before the break. got to know a few of the other pharm ppl abit better cause they weren't the group i normally hung out with. let's see..year 2 gals...it's maymay, weiqi, cheralyn and me in this pic. I'M CUT OFF! boohoo!
may may and i laughed at niron when we saw him. he looked damn shagged and his eyes were very red! but that's cause he cycled all the way from sengkang to ecp. we were wondering how he was going to survive the whole night cycling having to cycle all the way back. (btw, i asked him about it a few days later..he said because it was downhill all the way from ecp to sengkang it was rather easy).
we cycled to lau pat sat and back. lau pat sat was quite fun cause may may and cheralyn got niron to teach us how to say 'stand behind the yellow lines' in tamil.
on the way back, we detoured and cycled past the indoor stadium. the view was so magnificent.
was rather romantic too. too bad i was there with a whole bunch of ppl. go there with your lover ppl!
we reached back at around 3am. i was so stoned and tired. and when you're stoned and tired at 3am, you'll find a running potato on the wall as hilarious as i did!
the first weekend of the hols disappeared as i just spent it sleeping off my fatigue from the night cycling. and you know what? muscle rub really really works! i limped back home with aching thighs, slapped on some muscle rub and drop asleep straight away. i woke up and all the ache was gone!
sher, sab and i actually planned to celebrate huilin's bdae on monday at suki sushi. but huilin had something on last minute. so the day was just spent going back to school for practical and project discussion.
tuesday saw me a total sloth as i spent the whole day at home DOING NOTHING. i've no idea how i accomplished that either. at least i went blading in the park with my mum and sis after dinner.
woke up bright and early on wednesday to meet carmen and andrea for our little outing to sentosa.
muaha..posing as the tram driver!
and off we go!
we sort of took the wrong tram and ended up at siloso beach.
walked a distance down to the beach where we saw carmen posing as the lifeguard. all was fine until she said, 'i don't know how to swim.' !!!!!!!!!!!
andrea, me and the small little island.
we then took the correct tram to palawan beach where we saw all the cute little statues and got excited.
carmen in bollywood movie with tall, dark, handsome johnny depp-alike pirate.
don't laugh arh! though i did when i saw this photo..haa..damn hilarious. i was trying to mimic the statue's smile.
the shadies.
tried on carmen's bought-in-canada shades!
ten minutes after we settled down on the beach...the dark clouds arrived.
it was so disappointing! we headed to the food court for sheltar as the first drops of rain fell. as we were heading home, the sun decided to come out. boo....
saw this cute sesame street school bus bag on the girl who were queuing in front of us.
said bye to andrea who had to leave for some meeting. afterwhich carmen and i headed over to marina square where carmen had an appointment to get her hair cut. her hairdresser looked like some cool hiphop guy but yet at the same time seemed soooo nice.
this was carmen BEFORE the haircut.
this is AFTER! quite stylo right?
we went to sakae sushi for their buffet where i treated ms carmen choong as i didn't get her a present for her birthday.
had my favourite udon and unagi!
and that made agnes a happy person.
i also tried the raw squid which i saw sher tucking happily into the last time. EUYEW!!!! i spat it out! haa..sorry sher. it was such a weird taste. first it was soft and biteable. then it became damn gooey. and in my head i kept thinking raw squid raw squid raw squid. i swallowed half of it but the other half i'm sorry to say was resigned to the bin.
they had this cool seating arrangement where you could either sit cross-legged or kneel down the true-blue jap way or simply just tug your legs into the box under the table.
hohoho. what's this?
hohoho. looks like lots of caterpiller cacoons.
it's actually the rice from the sushi that we simply couldn't bring ourself to ingest. give credit to carmen for the idea!
and while walking around trying to digest our food, we met hady and jon leong!!! i'm a happy happy girl! but was damn star-struck lar..we were walking out of puma when i saw them walking in. i just stopped right there in my tracks and starred! took a picture with them. and of all days to meet them, i was toting my huge evian bottle from sentosa. damn! and anyone should know that i'm a huge-ass jon leong fan. so i deftly (i hope) transferred the bottle so that it's at hady's side instead of jon's. muaha. oh man. someday i'm gonna read all this when i'm all grown up and laugh at the silliness of myself. but who cares. right now. jon rocks!!!! and he's a cool and pretty nice guy too. of course hady was really easy on the eyes. looked really boyish and cute in person.
SWOONS!!!
carmen got her shot too. i say that both hady and jon have mastered the art of posing in the same exact way for all their fans. thanks carmen for the photos! muacks!
thursdays saw me heading to school at freaking 8.30am for computing project. yawns!
headed to carmen's hostel after the meeting for some studying. not much done. her bed looked damn inviting though. thanks for the noodles too!
some caricatures of carmen and her roomie yuanting.
ol' carmeny in her room.
there! evidence of me in her room!
hopped over to the isetan sale after that where i finally bought stuff! it's been a long drought. somehow i've went shopping a few times but each time i couldn't find anything to get.
i got myself a new pair of jeans!
and a polo tee for puaysian!
also got another turqoise tank. it's great having the shopping juices flowing again!
went to starbucks raffles city on friday for singapore film meeting. it ended bright and early at 11am. yay! i'm gonna be the director for our film. hopefully everything turns out good!
oh noooo..the eyebags are not staying off!
waited another 3 hours for miz bernice to arrive.
she bought burger king for me! actually it was shared lar...
went out with her the next day AGAIN! with my mum this time.
we got our eyes checked. mine increased by 25 degress which didn't qualify me for new glasses. boo!
then we headed over to taka. crazy mooncake fair! so many thousands stalls!
caught a glimpse of 'A PROFILE OF TIME' by dali. nice!
sunday saw my father bundling us down to the new tiong bahru market with their roof carpark.
sooo nice! looked like some foodcourt...abeit a little stuffy and hot and oily and...you know...
he then drove us down to chinatown to see the midautumn festival decor.
i LURVE car rides! that's why i like the jewellery advert that appears during singapore idol. driving under the star-filled sky with the roof down and the wind blowing in your hair. mmm..nothing seems better than that to me..
went to sneak my father's aviators for a little vanity try in the mirror. haa..tata! not going to blog for a long time!
p.s. anyways, just a little more thoughts here. was going home with huilin and yijiang on the mrt and we were talking bout horoscope and how huilin thinks they're so true. so i asked her what the character of a saggitarius was like. and she goes happy-go-lucky, not opiniated (shucks! how do you spell this?) and don't mind making little changes to one's plans for the sake of others. hmmm..so true. but all of a sudden it seemed to me like it's all negative traits! felt a bout of depression cause of that. gotta start caring more bout my school work and emo stuff around me. but you know what? britney spears and christina aguilera are saggitarius-es too! go power!
updates with more to come.

don't seem to be doing anything much exciting these days. hence the lack of posts!the past two weeks have been UN-BREATHABLE!!! surviving on 4 hours of sleep a day for two weeks have left me with a fever two weeks ago and a flu now! boo..i hate flus! i'd rather have a burning raging fever than flu.
haa..whatever that was typed above was written like a full week ago! i just totally dread blogging these days. when i see all the photos that i've uploaded..i get scared and promptly log out of blogger.
it's weird how i am hesitant to give out my blog address to people i know these few days. it's been a few times that people have asked me whether i've a blog. somehow i find myself stopping to think, sometimes almost saying no. hmmm!
anyways..on to the real stuff. about normal school life at first. weiling the crazy woman has been leaving her mark on people who sit beside her for lecture. first it was on my lecture notes.
then when i borrowed sock's notes to copy, lo and behold i found the same thing abeit much bigger!
had a birthday celebration in lecture way back. as we were singing bingxun a birthday song, they flashed a nose-bleeding picture of him. haa. made me lol!
went out with huilin one day after school after a long abstinence from shopping. it was like, arrrrrgh! cannot stand it anymore! so after eating at muchie monkeys (which was a traumatising horrible experience), we went impromptu shopping!
bought lotsa food that day! hmmm..actually I only bought fried soft shell crab. but huilin bought sooo much stuff! she bought cornflakes from marks and spencer, seawood (the real unprocessed kind – it cost her a whopping $15++), some jap bread stuff and of course the fried soft shell crab. WOW!
huilin introducing me to the olive bread. euyew! i don't like olives. but i thought the bread looked damn cute.
and the cover i liked to close my cup of tea with was out of stock! boo..had to use this normal-looking thing!
and my lecturer (haa..yeap..she's a lecturer. looked like the granny type hor) wore something that was suspiciously similar to what i wore that day. omg!
the no-touch flush at raffles city basement. it gets my stamp of approval!
and my mom made me and sis tag along with her to see the biennale trees at orchard road.
scary! haa..sher said it looked as though fungus were growing on the trees!
went to the art museum after that. hey! no laughing arh. it's good to be geeky once in a while.
their nice and simplistic toilet. i was really paranoid over whether people outside could look in.
okay. i'm just gonna let the pictures talk.
really sadistic piece of art. but i like! it's of the little red riding hood.
this is of sleeping beauty. i love art pieces that make you think and then go 'ahhh.'
bernice and her twisty all around legs! have no idea how she does that!
really cool arrangement of art. a picture of someone walking down steps that was hung beside the staircase.
after that, the security guard caught me taking photos. i swear i didn't know that i couldn't take photos. i was so shocked i just stood there looking at him. but i think he thought that i was staring at him so he stared back. he looked damn scary staring at me with his huge bushy moustache but i just stood there staring at him until my mum came to intercept our little staring war.
it was my father's birthday come 9th sept. i'm saying this cause i've so many photos to post i don't know which comes after which! and he took my family out to east coast park for seafood!!! not really a fan of seafood. but give me crabs don't care chilli or pepperi take!!!
we were seated at the second floor of Long Beach seafood. the service was quite good. food was average only. next time we'll head to the Red House! collage of that day! my sis and i trying on some saigon hat. haa!
my father gave us a car ride after that. we saw all the great blooms that were sprinkled everywhere for the IMF. the sunflowers looked ridiculous in tropical singapore! tried out the different modes and flashes of my cam. though we all know that's an excuse! *snickers*
last friday i met up with the percussion gals for shijia's and cui's birthday celebrations at new york new york!
stole this off andrea's blog!
went to meet shijia first after my project discussion to get cui's present. we got her this very nice wallet from the wallet shop. i was gushing on and on about it the shop! only bad thing about it was that it didn't have a coin compartment. so we got her a cool little coin pouch along with it.
went to meet huiping who was queuing in the already snaking queue. we had to wait so long that we started photo-whoring.
yeap! i'm not kidding. we took tons of photos!
think we queued about an hour just to get in. i was quite disappointed that i didn't get to sit in the cubicle seats ala bujang lapok.
anyways here's the menu for you!
i ordered the really yummy ribs. huiping also ordered something really delicious. some bratwurst sausage with bacon and cheese thingy.
the thing i enjoyed most of all that night was the candy floss making!
the rest of the girls had a shot at it too..damn i was real bad at it. i think i jammed the machine! oops!
our group photo of the day!
i was trying my very hardest not to laugh at the waiter who was taking the photo. he would say 'smile-eeee!' ending the word with a high-pitched 'mile'. damn hilarious.
anyway that'll be the end of this post. this post took me like a super long 2 weeks to post! i know i have much more to blog but all my photos are in my laptop and i can't get any cork connection on it! breah! seriously disguntled.
