blah..i really have no time kay! anyway it's a picture of my singapore film lecture theatre! complete with spotlights! it was my first day back at school after a freaking long (but not missed) break! i was like 'PHWOAR! damn nice sia!'
we get to watch singapore films during lectures. how cool is that? of course we had to learn the boring bits like the history of singapore films and all the different technical stuff.

went to the fullerton hotel with my mum and sis for a talk the other day. bernice doing her hair up like chae-gyung in goong.

and we saw zhuang, our fave blogger's ex! it was weird at first cuz zhuang was with his triplet brothers and bernice and i saw each of them and looked to each thinking we each saw zhuang.
we were there for a talk by ciba-vision on myopia and contact-lens safety.

singaporeans are like the most kiasu people on this planet earth. omg! during the break, all the refreshments were snapped up before you could say mozarella! my sis and i were the only ones queing and boy did we look silly! everyone else just rushed to the front of the queue to grab at whatever they could see. esp. this ancient woman who looked damn frail. OMG she elbowed me and pushed me aside to get some crab thingy that wasn't even palatable in the first place! look. empty food trays.
halfway during the talk, i got so bored i started drawing clothings pieces that i wanted to sew.
after the talk, we discovered this nice decorative flower arrangement by the front entrance.
this kind caucasian man offered to take a photo for us. the view from up there certainly looks better.

we were made to attend a talk by the health minister that night. made as in it was compulsory though i couldn't figure out how they would know whether you were there that night.
it was held in the ucc. just days after the prime minister's national rally.

huilin had the misfortune of being allocated this single seat at the third circle. it was super scary. she looked like she was floating.
it got quite boring after awhile. opposite me there were three guys who just decided to drop off to sleep.
i didn't like the health minister after the talk. when one of our pharmacy classmate took the mike to suggest that we should be given dispensing rights since that's the case in other countries. i forgot everything in his reply but for this sentence - 'doctors are cleverer than pharmacists'. which the medicine students reacted to by clapping. i mean, of course, by all means i wouldn't go ahead and reject that claim. it IS true that medicine students are smarter. but being a minister, this means you cannot be blatant, somehow it came out all wrong and i left the hall with tinge of bitterness towards him. and take this. his wife is a pharmacist. oh! the irony!
headed to school with bernice sometime in the past. she was studying in the train!!!
met her to go shopping after that. had a bad hair day that day so i became moody everytime i saw a mirror or reflection.

we ordered the chilli wanton noodles. try the black sauce one instead!!! the chilli one wasn't that fabulous.

to look for this bag. i was told it sold out a month ago. I'M DEPRESSED! if anyone sees this bag and it cost below $80, please get it for me! i'll pay you back! yes i'm desperate. the shopkeeper said she sold it at $39.90!
the icon was a disgusting place with a whole shitload of stairs to climb and nothing good to part with your money for.
another day in the past.
erm. the only reason the previous photo was posted is cause the lighting there was pretty good and it was a quiet and secluded part of taka that we could take lots of photos in!
went to topshop where there were alot of nice vintage stuff. we had a riot in the changing room.

ooo. the place behind orchard mrt was bought up to make way for some building. bet it's gonna look real nice but sigh! orchard road needs a park or some grassy area to break up all the huge shopping centres.
my mum then brought us in search of some travel agent's office which was closed!
but i spotted this Han's place which really was a town. the hugest Han's ever!

huilin, sher and i met our teacher for dinner since he's gonna leave for further studies soon. we had our meals at two japanese restaurants that day. main course at Waraku where i was made to eat sashimi by peer pressure. it wasn't that bad but i just don't like raw food.
had japanese desert after that where huilin spat her jap sweet potato at me and we witnessed an ice cream toppling when the waiter set ths plate down at our neighbour's table.
went to search for a rabbit cage last sunday at a cat's exhibition. this sounds weird! but the man at pet safari advised us to do so.
so we headed down to expo. where there were so many cats!!! i like!!!
cats and their catnaps...they were all damn attitude lar. sat there like some arrogant nit. but that makes cats special.
the next monday weiling was greeted by a shock in dispensing lab. her lab partner, whom she shares apparatus with didn't wash the casserole at all! talk about inconsiderate. i couldn't help but burst out laughing when i saw it.
we wanted to eat at munchie monkey.
but it was closed. we ended up at subway where the service was extremely bad. not going to go into it cause i'm damn tired.
nothing better than a hot drink to keep you alive last freaking cold tuesday. argh! i was shivering with my jacket on!
during singapore film tutorial, a few students had to roleplay characters. we sent someone up from our group who didn't watch the film at all. she's the best man! volunteering to go up ever though she skipped the film.
and the thought of heading to quirky japan is what's getting me through this terrible sem.
