okay the last bits that happened before the exams start and when all hell broke loose.

our group was in charge of making ondeh ondeh..

actually i think that indonesian ppl are super nice, kinda like their customs and of course their food! haha..moreover i've learnt how to bargain in indonesian man..anything to do with shopping and i'll be satisfied laa..

oh my...i just realise it's the same expression! haha..but anyways niron took this while joy, hl him and i were eating the mala steamboat at arts canteen. it's like only 5 bucks for ALOT of food..the 4 of us shared 2 person's sharing. and the soup is super spicy but very shiok!


okay shopping again..now i know why i have such bad grades...


2 hours more to 2008 so HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!!!!
September marks the month of many ppl's birthdays and that includes my dad's..

spent the rest of sept hols working at this film co, which was filming Dance of the Dragon, featuring fann wong. it was quite thrilling coz it was at this shophouse at Mohammad Sultan Rd. and i managed to catch a glimpse of robin leong and hollywood actor er oops forgot his name..


Sept 07 was our last break for the sem. tests were starting even before the sch hols..damm!
haven't been blogging much of the last half year so here goes!

right before the sem started, met up with the perc gals just to chat and have a final meetup before andrea headed to sweden for her exchange. met up at tcc bugis, a really nice place with er really expensive food. haha...but we had a really nice chandeliered booth to sit in..so head to tcc only in large groups to snag those booths. anyways andrea is coming back real soon..jan 11 to be exact! how fast time seems to pass...

first week of school saw me going to ntu with joy and niron. them for biobiz, me for visiting friends!


cuis brought me to her room..looks alot like my room in KR but alot cosier!


still in the first week of school, bee and i were inspired to hit all the newer shopping haunts.

anyways we were heading to HAJI LANE! really cool place at the quieter side of Bugis..

headed to Far East after that to cut my hair at this place called J Salon. they're supposedly renowned to cut short hairstyles from gals with long hair. so i thought it was worth a shot to head down there...haha..it turned out alright..okay great in fact!



but having short hair with no time to bathe in the morning is recipe for depression man! grrr...i always wake up with hair that is flicked up at both sides..damm irritating!

had to work the nxt day but my hair was not behaving so i rem getting myself full-priced earrings from topshop. retail therapy really works.


then there was the annual health minister talk..sat in the stalls this time so couldn't talk much. it ended up being a good chance to catch up on sleep instead.


that weekend i rem going for dragonboating as well! i remembered leaving with damm sore arms and being very wet coz it was raining.

went for fashbash right before dragonboating with the bee!


held lime flea the following week..made quite a profit as we had a really good stall space!

my mum bought something from raffles hotel ah teng's bakery that looked like it had maggots growing on them...


i'm not kidding..i was quite shocked when i first saw it too...


the day after lime flea the perc gals met once again to celebrate shijia and cuicui's birthdays.


we had the vegetarian buffet at Quality hotel and boy was the food scrumptious. i must had have like 7 cups of herbal jelly or something..

after we had our fill, it was gift time..we couldn't make vids like shijia could so we decided to give her a card filled with pics instead.

we stayed and chatted so long we sorta got chased out of the restaurant coz they had to close. and they it was crazy photowhoring time.

and because me missed andrea's presence at our bdae gathering..we did a W-M-U-A!

and i took Bahasa Indonesia this sem which was seriously alot of fun. this was when our ibu (teachers) were giving card with emotions that we must say in Indonesian.


went cycling with Bee in August as well..think i've blogged about it before...




had Biobiz the nxt day..dragged my aching thighs down to Buona Vista..here was us all squeezing into the cargo lift for a peekture!


joy and i found a source of cheap thrills on niron's mac..

and there goes August, a time where i was still enjoying myself coz schoolwork wasn't as bad yet.
