in the middle of the week, she took half day leave to spend time with me. so after changing our choice destination just about a few hundred times. wanted to go central for manhatten fish market. then putien at city sq for high tea buffet. we finally decided to hit orchard central to check out the new mall. yea i know i must be one of the last few people to step in.
the roof garden was nice! the wind a little too strong though. think i must have flashed to the many grandpapas and grandmamas having their afternoon yum cha at this atas hk restaurant there one time too many )):
and since we still couldn't decide what to have for lunch and my mum was in dire need of her afternoon caffeine shot, we decided to have tea time first.
and the donut place at taka now has mini donuts as well! sher!! 5 for $2.80! haha..see what you've done when you introduced me to the wonder that was the strawbeery white choc donut. the oreo choc is darn good as well. choc and oreo crumbs on top, cookies and cream filling in the middle.
we decided to settle at ginza bahrain. since i've always wanted to try the food there. katsu katsu you remind me soo much of tokyo. i wanna go back there so bad!
had an awesome day with my mum.
and she just came back bearing my favourites fruits. guava grapes mango banana oranges. and meesiam chickenmerak and my favourite mousetail noodles for lunch. she's also cooking crabs for dinner. best mum in the world!
