work's been a blast these two days. leedee, this pre-reg from taiwan got rotated up and all of us haven't been talking to him much since work started, but ahaha..he may look quiet and obscure, but after talking to him, he's a hoot! proves how much you shouldn't judge someone before you get to know them better.
had a bbq on tuesday night as well and i'm still craving for marshmallowss..and talking bout cravings..i have the weirdest food loves these days. all i can think bout are pork floss and dried scallops.....

second day of shanghai saw us heading down to the fabric market where all the tailors are. i got them to duplicate..no make that triplicate one of my favourite top. so now i have three of them, all of different patterned cloth of course!
so here's the three girls in the backseat of a cab after breakfast. we kinda cabbed everywhere in shanghai coz the meter takes forever to tick. so it cost approximately 3bucks for the four of us to get to almost everywhere in the city.
we headed to the infamous QiPuLu after that. there you can find clothes and accessories at wholesale prices. of course you have to bargain your way to a good deal. stopped for abit for lunch at kfc. fast food was the only thing we dared to eat at that place.
not much photos because we were busy shopping. was soo tired after that day. and my sis kinda kena the runs so we kinda stayed in the hotel for the night. my mum and i headed out to the shopping street beside our hotel to get dinner. and that was when i found the awesome xiao yang sheng jians that car recommended. they are a little like your xiao long baos but fried. pics later! if i could bring them back to singapore, i'd have brought them back by the carton. so we tabaoed ajisen, which cost like 5 bucks a bowl. goodness...i'd love to head back to shanghai for all the shopping and food!
